Martha C. Piper is a Canadian academic and administrator who was the president and vice-chancellor of the University of British Columbia (UBC) from 1997 until 2006. She was the 11th person and the first woman to serve as president of UBC. Having been born in Lorain, Ohio, she is also the first person born outside Canada to have held the position. She is a Canadian citizen and was made an officer of the Order of Canada in 2002. Her contract with UBC stipulated a salary of $350,000 plus incentive payments of up to $50,000 per year upon meeting the performance goals set by the Board of Governors.

R. Peter MacKinnon, is a Canadian lawyer and legal academic. MacKinnon served as the president of the University of Saskatchewan from 1999 to 2012. On 1 July 2014, he was named as the interim president of Athabasca University.

Doug Owram is professor of history and was deputy vice-chancellor of the University of British Columbia Okanagan from 2006 to 2012, a post he assumed on July 1, 2006. He was formerly vice president (academic) and provost at the University of Alberta.

Robert Armistead Bryan was an American former university professor, administrator and university president. Bryan was a native of Pennsylvania, and earned his bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees. He subsequently obtained an appointment as a professor of English literature. He was a long-time professor and academic administrator at the University of Florida, and was appointed as the university's interim president, serving from 1989 to 1990. Bryan also served as the interim president of the University of Central Florida from 1991 to 1992, and the interim president of the University of South Florida from 1993 to 1994.

Garnett Sue Stokes is an American academic administrator serving as the 23rd president of the University of New Mexico. She assumed office on March 1, 2018.

She has also held various leadership roles at WSU, including serving as Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Interim Dean of the College of Sciences.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Milton C. Moreland</span> American academic administrator and archaeologist

Milton C. Moreland is an American academic administrator and archaeologist serving as the 21st president of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. A graduate from the University of Memphis, Moreland taught for eight years at Huntingdon College and was a member of the faculty and administration for thirteen years at Rhodes College, serving for some time as the dean of faculty, vice president for academic affairs, and provost. In February 2020, he was announced as president of Centre College; he assumed office on July 1, 2020, succeeding John A. Roush, and was formally inaugurated in October 2021.
