David Gene "Dave" Hazewinkel (born September 8, 1944) is an American former wrestler who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics and in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Greco-Roman wrestling. In college, Hazewinkel was a two-time NAIA wrestling All-American at St. Cloud State College. [1] Born in Detroit, Michigan, he is the twin brother of Jim Hazewinkel and father of Sam Hazewinkel. [2]
He was a bronze medalist in Brazil at the 1969 World Championships and a silver medalist in Canada at the 1970 World Championships. Hazewinkel was the first American to win a silver medal at the World Championships in Greco-Roman wrestling, the first American to win two world medals in Greco-Roman, and the first American to win two consecutive World medals in Greco-Roman.
His son Sam Hazewinkel was also an Olympic wrestler, making them the first father and son to each make the U.S. Olympic team. [3]
David Lesley Schultz was an American Olympic and World champion freestyle wrestler, and a seven-time World and Olympic medalist. He coached individuals and teams at the college level and also privately.
Karam Ibrahim Gaber is an Egyptian Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the gold medal in the Men's Greco-Roman 96 kg at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and won the silver medal at the 2003 World Championships. At the 2012 London Olympics, he won a silver medal. He was suspended by United World Wrestling for two years in August 2015, because of a "whereabouts failure" during his doping test.
Armen Nazaryan is an Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler who later represented Bulgaria. Nazaryan is a two-time Olympic Champion, a three-time World Champion, and a six-time European Champion. After Armenia regained independence in 1991, Nazaryan became the first Olympic gold medalist for the country. He was recognized by the FILA as the best wrestler of the year in 1998 and 2003. In 2007, Nazaryan was inducted as a member of the FILA Hall of Fame.

Abraham Kurland was a Danish Olympic silver medalist wrestler. Sam Hazewinkel is an American former wrestler who won the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials and competed at the 2012 Olympics in freestyle 55 kg division. Hazewinkel previously served as head wrestling coach at Oklahoma City University during the 2019 and 2020 seasons. He has since returned to the University of Oklahoma, where he is a Volunteer Assistant Coach with his alma mater.

Marek Švec is an amateur Greco-Roman wrestler from the Czech Republic. He is a three-time Olympian, and also, a multiple-time medalist at both the World and European Championships. He also won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Mihály Deák-Bárdos is a Hungarian amateur Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's super heavyweight category. He is a four-time Olympian, and a six-time medalist at the European Championships. Deák-Bárdos had also won a total of five silver medals at the World Championships, losing out to numerous top-level wrestlers including Alexander Karelin, Rulon Gardner, Khasan Baroyev, and Mijaín López, all of whom were Olympic champions in the same division.
Dilshod Aripov is an amateur Uzbekistani Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's lightweight category. He is a two-time medalist at the Asian Games, and five-time at the Asian Wrestling Championships. Aripov also achieved his early international success by defeating Armenia's Karen Mnatsakanyan for a gold medal in the 58 kg class at the 2001 World Wrestling Championships in Patras, Greece.
Adam Jacob Coon is an American heavyweight Greco-Roman wrestler. He was also a former professional football player, playing offensive guard for the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL, notable for not having played football in college. Coon was an accomplished wrestler at the state, national, and international levels. He was a 2011 Cadet World freestyle gold medalist, 2014 Junior World double bronze medalist in both Greco-Roman and freestyle, two-time NCAA Division I finalist, 2018 Senior World silver medalist in Greco-Roman, and a Pan American gold medalist in 2019 and silver medalist in 2020.
