David Ross Brillinger (born 1937) [1] FRSC is a statistician and Emeritus Professor of Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley. [3] [4] [1] He received his PhD from Princeton in 1961 under John Tukey. [2] Brillinger's former doctoral students include Peter Guttorp, [2] Ross Ihaka, [5] Rafael Irizarry [6] and Victor Panaretos.
