Dayana Chirinos (born 4 October 1991) [1] is a Venezuelan weightlifter. She has won medals in weightlifting at the Bolivarian Games, Central American and Caribbean Games, South American Games and Pan American Weightlifting Championships.

Career

Chirinos won the silver medal in the women's 75 kg event at the 2017 Pan American Weightlifting Championships held in Miami, United States. [2] In 2021, she won the bronze medal in the women's 87 kg event at the 2020 Pan American Weightlifting Championships held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She finished in 4th place in the women's 81 kg event at the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. [3] [4]

Chirinos won the bronze medal in her event at the 2022 South American Games held in Asunción, Paraguay. [5] [6] She competed in the women's 81 kg event at the 2023 Pan American Games held in Santiago, Chile. [7]

In 2024, she won the gold medal in the women's 87 kg event at the Pan American Weightlifting Championships held in Caracas, Venezuela. She won the silver medal in her event at the 2024 Bolivarian Games held in Ayacucho, Peru. [8]
