"Dear April" is a song by Frank Ocean, released as a 7-inch single on March 25, 2020, consisting of an "acoustic" version as side A, and a remix by Justice as side B. The acoustic version was released digitally on April 3, and was written and produced by Ocean and Daniel Aged.
In October 2019, Ocean previewed Justice's remix of the track at his PrEP+ club night, and made the 7-inch single available to pre-order on his website, alongside "Cayendo". [1] On March 25, 2020 the vinyls began to ship, while the acoustic A-side was released on digital platforms on April 3. [2] [3]
Ocean wrote and produced the song with Daniel Aged. [4] It has been characterised as an ambient pop and R&B ballad, featuring a dream-like atmosphere with jazz-influenced guitars and "synth-like washes". [5] [6]
Pitchfork 's Marc Hogan described the song as potentially Ocean's "most understated stunner yet", writing: "It's not the Ocean you would've wanted to see at the now-postponed Coachella, but it's the Ocean we needed to hear holed up alone together in our bedrooms." [5]

Soft Cell are an English synth-pop duo who came to prominence in the early 1980s. The duo consists of vocalist Marc Almond and instrumentalist David Ball. The band are primarily known for their 1981 hit version of "Tainted Love" and their platinum-selling debut album Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret.

Kieran Miles David Hebden, known as Four Tet, is an English electronic musician. He came to prominence as a member of the post-rock band Fridge before establishing himself as a solo artist with charting and critically acclaimed albums such as Rounds (2003), Everything Ecstatic (2005) and There Is Love in You (2010). In addition to his twelve studio albums as Four Tet, Hebden's work includes a number of improvisational works with jazz drummer Steve Reid and collaborations with Burial and Thom Yorke.

Lovelife is the third and final studio album by English rock band Lush. It was released on 5 March 1996 by 4AD. Unknown Mortal Orchestra is a psychedelic rock band based in Portland, Oregon and primarily composed of singer, guitarist, and songwriter Ruban Nielson and bassist Jacob Portrait. It is Ocean's first release since his cover of "Moon River" was released in February 2018 and it is his first original song since releasing "Provider" in August 2017.

"Holiday" is a song released by British girl group Little Mix, on 24 July 2020 as the second single from their sixth studio album Confetti (2020). It was co-written by members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, alongside Chris Loco, Camille Purcell and Goldfinger; the latter who produced the song. It was written during a drunk session, with lyrics being inspired about how a boy can make them feel good. Described as a pop track with electro-pulsating bass lines, it was met with generally positive reviews from critics. It reached number fifteen on the UK Singles Chart, and charted in twelfth other music markets. It has been certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) and Pro-Música Brasil (PMB).
The Smile are an English rock band comprising the Radiohead members Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood with Tom Skinner (drums). Critics likened them to Radiohead, with more jazz, krautrock and progressive rock influences and a looser, wilder sound.
