Death: An Anthology is the fifth studio album by American deathcore band Enterprise Earth, the album was released on February 2, 2024, through MNRK Music. [5] It is the band's first album to feature vocalist Travis Worland and bassist Dakota Johnson [6] and it is the band's final album to feature drummer Brandon Zackey as he would depart from the band in August 2024 to join Whitechapel. [7] It is also the band's first album to not feature any original members following the departure of original vocalist Dan Watson in April 2022. [8] An instrumental version of the album was released in May 3, 2024. [9]

Contents

Musical style

While the album has the band's usual deathcore style, it showed a more unique sound compared to their other records, blending the genre with djent, progressive metal, and metalcore. [4]

Touring

The band would accompany the album with a tour of North America that took place in Mid 2024 with support from Inferi, Crown Magnetar and Tracheotomy. [10] and the Origin of Madness tour that will take place in Europe in early 2025 with Distant, The Last Ten Seconds of Life and Harbinger. [11]

Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee. The band is named after the Whitechapel district in East London, England, where Jack the Ripper committed a series of murders. The group comprises vocalist Phil Bozeman, guitarists Ben Savage, Alex Wade, and Zach Householder, bassist Gabe Crisp and drummer Brandon Zackey. Their core lineup, with the exception of the drummer, has remained consistent since Householder replaced original guitarist Brandon Cagle in 2007. Founded in 2006 by Bozeman and Savage, the band has released eight studio albums and fourteen music videos, and it's currently signed to Metal Blade Records. Whitechapel's 2010 album A New Era of Corruption, sold around 10,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release and debuted at position No. 43 on the Billboard 200 chart. At the beginning of the spring, the band finalised their deal with Attila frontman, Chris Fronzak, and moved to his record label Stay Sick Recordings, leaving former label We Are Triumphant. Since the departure of Watson in 2022, no original members remain in the band, with guitarist Gabe Mangold being its longest tenured member since joining in 2017.

Elegy is the fourth album by deathcore band Shadow of Intent. The album was released on January 14, 2022. It is their first album with drummer Bryce Butler of Contrarian. The album was ultimately met with great critical acclaim. A deluxe edition of the album was released digitally on September 9, 2022. An orchestral version of the album titled Elegy: The Soundtrack was released on March 8, 2024.
