The Chosen is the fourth studio album by American deathcore band Enterprise Earth,the album was released on January 14,2022 through eOne. [1] It is the band's first album to feature drummer Brandon Zackey and the final to feature founding vocalist Dan Watson as he would departure from the band on April 12,2022 after having a premonition of his own death. [2] Is it also the band's final album to feature any original members as Watson was the final original member left following BJ Sampson's departure in 2019. [3] An instrumental version of the album was released on September 30,2022. [4]
The band would show a more progressive shift in their deathcore sound in this album,taking on other genres such as death metal and progressive metal. [5]
The album was announced on September 10,2021 along with the release of the first single titled "Where Dreams Are Broken”and its music video. [6] The second single titled "Reanimate // Disintegrate" was released on October 28,2021 along with its music video. [7] On December 9,2021,the band announced that they have fired their bassist Rob Saireh and released the third single from the album titled "Legends Never Die". [8] On July 26,2022,the band released a music video for the song "You Couldn’t Save Me" which featured new vocalist Travis Worland,who replaced Watson on May 2,2022. [9] [10] The band would accompany the album with a summer tour with support from Within Destruction,Sentinels and Great American Ghost. [11] In late 2022,the band supported Shadow of Intent's tour in North America for their Elegy album with Inferi and Wormhole. [12]

Firewind is a Greek power metal band formed in Thessaloniki in 1998. The group is currently signed to AFM records and was originally a small project created by guitarist Gus G. to showcase his demo, Nocturnal Symphony, in 1998. Firewind later became a full band over three years later when they recorded their debut album, Between Heaven and Hell. To date, the band has released ten studio albums and has been met with international success.
Alex Varkatzas is an American musician, best known as the former lead vocalist of metalcore band Atreyu from its inception in 1998 until his departure from the band in 2020. In 2011, during the band's hiatus, Varkatzas also started a hardcore project with Bleeding Through vocalist Brandan Schieppati named I Am War.
Make Them Suffer is an Australian metalcore band from Perth, formed in 2008. They are currently signed to SharpTone Records. Their debut studio album, Neverbloom, peaked at No. 56 on the ARIA Album charts in June 2012, and showcased the band's earlier mix of metalcore, blackened death metal, and symphonic metal. Its follow-up Old Souls debuted at No. 30 upon release in May 2015 and displayed the band beginning to transition from death/black metal to a more progressive metalcore sound. After the band signed with Rise Records, the label released an expanded version of Old Souls in August 2016, containing also an EP from their death metal era Lord of Woe and a new track, "Ether". Despite the name, the band is not named after the Cannibal Corpse song of the same name.
Suicide Silence is an American deathcore band from Riverside, California. The band was established in 2002, and has released seven studio albums, three EPs, and nineteen music videos. They were awarded the Revolver Golden God award for "Best New Talent" in 2009. The group currently consists of guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, bassist Dan Kenny, vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida and drummer Ernie Iniguez.
Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee. The band is named after the Whitechapel district in East London, England, where Jack the Ripper committed a series of murders. The group comprises vocalist Phil Bozeman, guitarists Ben Savage, Alex Wade, and Zach Householder, bassist Gabe Crisp and drummer Brandon Zackey. Their core lineup, with the exception of the drummer, has remained consistent since Householder replaced original guitarist Brandon Cagle in 2007. Founded in 2006 by Bozeman and Savage, the band has released eight studio albums and fourteen music videos, and it's currently signed to Metal Blade Records. Whitechapel's 2010 album A New Era of Corruption, sold around 10,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release and debuted at position No. 43 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band's self-titled fourth album was released in 2012 and debuted at No. 47 on the Billboard 200, selling roughly 9,200 copies in its first week. In 2014 the band released their fifth full-length album, Our Endless War to generally positive reviews. The album sold roughly 16,000 copies in its first week and debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. They released their sixth full-length album Mark of the Blade in 2016 to greater critical acclaim, selling roughly 8,000 copies in the first week of its release. In 2019, Whitechapel released their seventh album, The Valley, which debuted at No. 143 on the Billboard 200 also to critical acclaim. Their newest album, Kin, was released on October 29, 2021.
Carnifex is an American deathcore band from San Diego County, California. Formed in 2005, they are currently signed to Nuclear Blast after having been signed to Victory Records. They have released nine studio albums and three EPs. Since 2022, the band has consisted of founding members, lead vocalist Scott Ian Lewis and drummer Shawn Cameron, along with rhythm guitarist Cory Arford, bassist Fred Calderon and lead guitarist Neal Tiemann.
As Blood Runs Black is an American metalcore/deathcore band hailing from Los Angeles, California. They have released three albums. Their first album, Allegiance, was released on June 6, 2006. Their second album, Instinct, was released on March 15, 2011. Instinct reached #1 on the US Billboard Heatseakers Albums chart and #111 on the US Billboard 200 for the week of April 2, 2011. On June 30, 2013, As Blood Runs Black announced that they would be self-releasing their newest album, Ground Zero, with the help of crowdfunding via IndieGoGo; this was successful and the album was released on October 27, 2014.

Rings of Saturn is an American deathcore band from the Bay Area, California. The band was formed in 2009 and was originally just a studio project. However, after gaining a wide popularity and signing to Unique Leader Records, the band formed a full line-up and became a full-time touring band. Rings of Saturn's music features a highly technical style, heavily influenced by themes of alien life and outer space. They have released six full-length albums, with their third, Lugal Ki En, released in 2014 and peaking at 126 on the American Billboard 200 chart while their fourth, Ultu Ulla was released in 2017 and peaked at 76 on the Billboard 200, making it the band's highest peak to date. Gidim was released in October 2019. The band's self-titled instrumental album was released in June 2022.
Lorna Shore is an American deathcore band formed in New Jersey in 2009. The group currently consists of lead guitarist Adam De Micco, drummer Austin Archey, rhythm guitarist Andrew O'Connor, vocalist Will Ramos, and bassist Michael Yager. The band is most known for their 2021 single "To the Hellfire". They have released four studio albums Psalms (2015), Flesh Coffin (2017), Immortal (2020), and Pain Remains (2022). The band has also released four EPs. Since 2011, no original members remain in the band.
Fit for an Autopsy is an American deathcore band from Jersey City, New Jersey, formed in 2008. The band consists of guitarists Pat Sheridan, Will Putney and Tim Howley, drummer Josean Orta, vocalist Joe Badolato, and bassist Peter "Blue" Spinazola. They are currently signed to Nuclear Blast and have released seven studio albums since formation.
Enterprise Earth is an American deathcore band from Spokane, Washington. The band was formed in mid-2014 by former members Dan Watson and BJ Sampson on vocals and guitars respectively. At the beginning of the spring, the band finalised their deal with Attila frontman, Chris Fronzak, and moved to his record label Stay Sick Recordings, leaving former label We Are Triumphant. Since the departure of Watson in 2022, no original members remain in the band, with guitarist Gabe Mangold being its longest tenured member since joining in 2017.

The album debuted at #22 on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart.
Foundation of Bones is the second EP by American deathcore band Enterprise Earth, released on June 19, 2020 through eOne. It is the band's first EP since 2014's XXIII. It is the first release from the band without founding guitarist BJ Sampson, the first release with drummer Brandon Zackey, and the first release as a four-piece band. Videos for all the tracks were released and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. The track "There Is No Tomorrow" is orignally from 2019's Luciferous.
Shadow of Intent is an American deathcore band from Connecticut. They formed in 2013 as a Halo-themed studio project by Ben Duerr and Chris Wiseman. The band's name is a reference to a Covenant ship in the Halo series. They are not signed to a label and have released all their albums independently. They have released four studio albums to date, along with two instrumental versions of previous releases, and a deluxe album. Their fourth studio album, Elegy, was released independently on January 14, 2022.

It is the band's first album to be released through the label and the first to feature guitarist Gabe Mangold. It is also the band's final album to feature drummer Aaron O'Toole and founding guitarist BJ Sampson. An instrumental version of the album was released on September 27, 2019.
