Mag Earwhig! is the 10th studio album by American indie rock band Guided by Voices. Following the dissolution of the group's "classic" lineup, band-leader Robert Pollard recruited Cleveland group Cobra Verde as his backing band, while retaining the Guided by Voices name. It was the second release to feature future long-term collaborator Doug Gillard. Gillard had previously played on and co-wrote the song "Mice Feel Nice " on the Tigerbomb EP. Most of Mag Earwhig! was recorded in a professional studio in Cleveland by the new lineup and marked a departure from band's trademark lo-fi sound; additional songs were also recorded in Dayton, Ohio.

Ahí Vamos is a 2006 studio album by Argentine rock musician Gustavo Cerati. The album was met with both positive reviews by critics and popularity, especially in Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. The first single released from the album was "Crimen", which received airplay starting in April 2006 and gained huge popularity in Latin America and Spain. The second single, released in September was "La Excepción". The album was certified Platinum in Argentina with only pre-ordered sales, and attained Gold status in Mexico.
"Lost for Words" is a song recorded by English rock band Pink Floyd, focused on forgiveness, written by guitarist and lead singer David Gilmour and his spouse Polly Samson for the band's 14th studio album, The Division Bell. It appears as the penultimate track on the album. The lyrics, mostly penned by Samson, are a bitterly sarcastic reflection on Gilmour's then-strained relationship with former bandmate Roger Waters. The song was released to US rock radio the week of the album's release, succeeding "Keep Talking", the previous promotional release, released the week before. The song reached #53 in the Canadian singles chart.

Cope described the album as "a musical exploration of what it is to be an outsider in modern Western Culture".

"Pretending" is a rock song written and composed by Jerry Lynn Williams. It was released in 1989 on Eric Clapton's Journeyman as the first track of the album. The song was released as the lead single from the album, backed with "Before You Accuse Me" in USA and Europe and "Hard Times" in UK, and reached #55 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the album's highest-charting single on that chart.
