School was founded by Industrialist and Philanthropist Late Chaudhary Sri. Ch. Mitter Sen Sindhu Ji in 2004 under Sindhu Education Foundation that runs several educational trusts and institutes under Indus Group of Institutions [3] and Param Mitra Manav Nirman Sansthan. [4] [5] [6] [7]
Current trustee and chairman of the school is founder Ch. Mitter Sen Sindhu's son, politician Abhimanyu Sindhu. [8] [9]

The school's 10.4 acre campus is located at Tifra, Raipur Road, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. Sir Chhotu Ram was a prominent politician in British India's Punjab Province, an ideologue of the pre-Independent India, who belonged to the Jat community and championed the interest of oppressed communities of the Indian subcontinent. For this feat, he was knighted in 1937. On the political front, he was a co-founder of the National Unionist Party which ruled the United Punjab Province in pre-independent India and kept Congress and Muslim League at bay. Adi Badri, also Sri Sarasvati Udgam Tirath, is a tourist site of archaeological, religious and ecological significance in a forest area in the foothills of the Sivalik Hills in Bhabar area, situated in northern part of Yamunanagar district, of the north Indian state of Haryana. There are remains of many Buddhist stupas and monasteries, which are about 1500–2000 years old, and there is also a group of Hindu temples from the 9th century. Based on the multiple archaeological excavations undertaken here, archaeologists have sent the proposal to Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to include this site in the list of protected heritage site. Several popular annual festivals are held here, including the five day long National Saraswati Festival in January, Adi Badri Akha Teej Mela in Vaisakh around April–May, week-long Adi Badri-Kapal Mochan Kartik Purnima religious mela around November.
