Denis Cussen (19 July 1901 – 15 December 1980) was an Irish sprinter, rugby union player and doctor. [2] He competed in the men's 100 metres at the 1928 Summer Olympics. [3]
The United States men's national rugby union team, nicknamed the Eagles, represents the United States of America Rugby Football Union in men's international rugby union. USA Rugby is the national governing body for the sport of rugby union in the United States, and is a member of Rugby Americas North, one of six regional governing bodies under World Rugby. The Lansdowne Cup is a rugby union trophy competed for by Australia and Ireland. Established in 1999, the cup was donated to the Australian Rugby Union by the Lansdowne Club of Sydney. The cup was launched in advance of the two Test matches played during the 1999 Ireland rugby union tour of Australia. The crystal trophy, made by Ireland's Waterford Crystal, for which the two nations compete was unveiled at a pub in Brisbane on 9 June 1999. Australia have won the Cup eight times while Ireland have won on seven occasions.

He was one of Australia's early dual-code rugby internationals. He competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics in rugby union and was notable for scoring the first ever try for the Australian national side in a rugby league test match.

Adriaan "Attie" Jacobus van Heerden was a South African Olympian 400-metre hurdler, rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for South Africa (Springboks), at provincial level for Western Province and Transvaal, and at university level for Stellenbosch University, as a Wing, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Other Nationalities, and at club level for Wigan and Leigh, as a wing. Attie van Heerden played for Wigan in the same era as fellow South African Afrikaner David Booysen.

Savenaca Rawaca, OF is a Fijian rugby union player. Renowned for his physicality and aggressiveness on the rugby field, he earned the nickname "Pitbull". He is currently playing for the Fiji sevens team. Rawaca made his debut for Fiji 7s at the 2014 Gold Coast Sevens. In August 2016, he was a part of the Fiji sevens men's rugby team that won a gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
