Nara Chandrababu Naidu, also known as Babu or CBN, is an Indian politician, statesman and the current Chief Minister elect of Andhra Pradesh. He also served as Chief Minister from 1995 to 2004, from 2014 to 2019, and as opposition leader from 2004 to 2014, from 2019 to 2024 of Andhra Pradesh. He has been the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) since 2015.
The Telugu Desam Party is an Indian regionalist and Telugu nationalist political party with great influence in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was founded by the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao (N.T.R.) on 29 March 1982 and has focused on supporting Telugu speakers. The Second N. Chandrababu Naidu ministry or the Nineteenth ministry of United Andhra Pradesh of the state of United Andhra Pradesh was formed on 11 October 1999 headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister following the 1999 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. The cabinet was sworn in a simple ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad. Initially the chief minister and eight other ministers of his council of ministers were administered the oath of office and secrecy by the then Governor C. Rangarajan. The cabinet was later expanded and reshuffled for four times citing several reasons on different occasions during the five year tenure to end on 14 May 2004.

The Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Act, 2020 is an act of Andhra Pradesh Legislature aimed at the decentralisation of governance in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
