The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) is a department in the state of Victoria, Australia. Commencing operation on 1 January 2023, it was created in machinery of government changes following the return of the Labor government led by Premier Daniel Andrews at the 2022 state election, in which the department was renamed from the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions. The DJSIR supports nine ministers across 15 portfolios, broadly related to economic development. It has the same responsibilities as the previous Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, with the exception of resources and agriculture which were transferred to the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action and local government which was transferred to Department of Government Services. Responsibilities for TAFE, skills, training and higher education were also transferred from the Department of Education and Training to the new department. [3]

The Minister for Higher and Further Education is a Junior ministerial post in the Education Department of the Scottish Government. As a result, the Minister does not attend the Scottish Cabinet. The post was created in May 2007 after the appointment of the Scottish National Party minority administration and the Minister reports to the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, who has overall responsibility for the portfolio, and is a member of cabinet. The Minister has specific responsibility for further education and colleges, higher education and universities, science and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics, student funding, youth work, and widening access to education.

The Ministry of Labour & Employment is one of the oldest and most important Ministries of the Government of India. This is an India's federal ministry which is responsible for enforcement of labour laws in general and legislations related to a worker's social security. The Ministry aims to create a healthy work environment for higher production and productivity and to develop and coordinate vocational skill training and employment. However, Skill Development responsibilities, such as Industrial Training and Apprenticeship responsibilities were transferred to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship from 9 November 2014. The Ministry launched the National Career Service portal on 20 July 2015 to help bridge the gap between job providers and job seekers.

Manitoba Advanced Education and Training is the department of the Government of Manitoba responsible for supporting adult learning, post-secondary education, and vocational training in Manitoba.

The First Andrews ministry was the 69th ministry of the Government of Victoria. The Labor Government, led by the Premier, Daniel Andrews, and Deputy Premier, James Merlino, was officially sworn in on 4 December 2014, following the 2014 state election, which was held on 29 November 2014. At the time of its formation, the Ministry comprised 22 ministers, five of which were members of the Victorian Legislative Council and 17 who were members of the Victorian Legislative Assembly.
