László Szalma is a retired Hungarian long jumper. He won six medals at the European Indoor Championships—two gold, three silver and one bronze—and finished fourth at the 1980 Olympic Games and the 1983 World Championships. His career best jump of 8.30 metres, achieved in July 1985 in Budapest, is the current Hungarian record.

He represented his country at the IAAF World Indoor Championships on two occasions and England at the 1990 Commonwealth Games.
Edison Everton Wedderburn is a male English former distance runner who competed mainly in the 3000 metres steeplechase. He represented Great Britain at the 1988 Olympic Games and won a silver medal at the 1985 Universiade.
