Destroy-Oh-Boy! is the debut album by the American garage punk band New Bomb Turks. It was released in 1993 by Crypt Records.
Destroy-Oh-Boy! was recorded at Coyote Studios in Brooklyn, New York. All songs on the album are credited to the New Bomb Turks with the exception of the song "Mr. Suit", a cover of the British punk rock band Wire's song from their debut album Pink Flag (1977).
Matt Reber, the band's bassist, recalled that he "didn't think anyone would like" the album. Vocalist Eric Davidson said that he "figured, for sure, it would be stacked in the back of Used Kids Records in Columbus and they'd be putting them out in the dollar bins, every couple of months." [1]

Despite the band's notions, Destroy-Oh-Boy! was released to what AllMusic declared "universally great reviews". [3] Reviewing the album in 1993, Spin critic Chuck Eddy complimented New Bomb Turks as "the only band I can think of lately that even attempts to play [punk rock] as the rock'n'roll it was meant to be, and that counts for something". [4] The same year, Alternative Press concluded that "suddenly, not only have both prole-threat punk bashery and destructo-rock found fresh voices, they've been melded into a seamless new terror all its own". [5] Maximum Rocknroll considered it the best punk album since 1988. [6] Trouser Press concluded that "the Turks seem most drawn to the fanboy-as-theorist-as-degenerate-rocker spirit of the Dictators". [7] Mark Deming of AllMusic, in a retrospective review, called Destroy-Oh-Boy! "the kind of full-on flamethrower album that could make the most jaded cynic believe once again in the curative powers of punk rock". [2]

The LP version includes "Spinnin' Clock" after "Tattooed Apathetic Boys"; "Cryin' into the Beer of a Drunk Man" is omitted on the LP, but appears as the b-side on the "Dragstrip Riot" 7" single. Also a 7" single (red vinyl) of "I'm Weak" was released with a B-side cover of The Rolling Stones "Summer Romance" on Get Hip records in 1993. A version of the album also includes the songs "Let's Dress Up the Naked Truth" and "Hapless Attempt".

Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge is the second studio album by American rock band Mudhoney. It was recorded at a time when the band was thinking of signing to a major record label, but decided to release the album on Sub Pop in 1991. The album shipped 50,000 copies on its original release. It was credited with helping to keep Sub Pop in business.
Ribbed is the third studio album by the American punk rock band NOFX, released in 1991 through Epitaph Records. It was their last album to feature Steve Kidwiler on guitar; he was replaced by El Hefe. Ribbed is also the last NOFX album produced by Brett Gurewitz, who also produced their first two Epitaph albums. The album sold 8,000 copies upon its release.
The New Bomb Turks are an American punk rock band formed at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, United States, in 1990. The founding members are Jim Weber, Eric Davidson, Bill Randt, and Matt Reber. Sam Brown replaced Bill Randt on drums in 1999. Early on their inspiration came from the Devil Dogs, Lazy Cowgirls, Union Carbide Productions, Didjits, and the Fluid. Music magazine Alternative Press has described their musical style, saying, "Not only have both prole-threat punk bashery and destructo-rock found fresh voices, they've been melded into a seamless new terror all its own." The New Bomb Turks have released ten full-length LPs, two EPs, and over twenty singles, some of which contain songs not available elsewhere. Their early recordings appear on the Datapanik, Sympathy For The Record Industry, Get Hip and Bag of Hammers labels. Crypt Records signed the band and released !!Destroy-Oh-Boy!!, Information Highway Revisited, and Pissing Out The Poison. Then Epitaph Records signed them and released LPs Scared Straight, At Rope's End and Nightmare Scenario. Gearhead Records released their next album, The Night Before the Day the Earth Stood Still. The band also released three b-side and outtakes compilations: Pissing Out the Poison, The Big Combo, and Switchblade Tongues & Butterknife Brains.

The Evil One is a 1981 debut album by American psychedelic rock singer Roky Erickson with his band the Aliens, after his time with the band 13th Floor Elevators. The songs were recorded in 1979 with producer Stu Cook, former bass player of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Some material, such as the song Sputnik, was not released on the 1980 CBS Records U.K. release, but was included on the 1981 414 Records LP release in California, which was then included on the 1987 combined release by Restless Records in California. Cook played bass on two tracks, "Sputnik" and "Bloody Hammer."
