Dewell Lerome Brewer (born May 22, 1970) is a former American football running back who played one season with the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Oklahoma and attended Lawton High School in Lawton, Oklahoma. [1] He was also a member of the Carolina Panthers.

Lawton High School (LHS) was the first high school built in Lawton, Oklahoma. Lawton High is located at 601 Northwest Fort Sill Boulevard in Lawton, Oklahoma. The school was originally housed in a building on 800 Southwest 'C' Avenue, which later came to be the Central Junior High building until the junior high was also moved to 1201 Northwest Fort Sill Boulevard. The current Lawton High School was built in 1954.

The Lawton Braves was the final and primary name of the minor league baseball teams based in Lawton, Oklahoma from 1947 to 1957. Lawton played as a member of the Texas-Oklahoma League in 1911 and the Sooner State League from 1947 to 1957, winning league championships in 1949, 1954 and 1955. Lawton hosted home games at Koehler Park in 1911 and all others at Memorial Park.

Hank Walbrick is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at the East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma from 1990 to 1998, compiling a record of 34–58–1 and winning an NAIA Division I Football National Championship in 1993. A native of Lawton, Oklahoma, Walbrick played football at Lawton High School and college football at East Central, where he started at linebacker for three seasons. He returned to Lawton High School in 1977 as an assistant football coach.
