The album's overall themes deal with the general ups and downs of life and relationships. All the songs were composed by Venegas, with the exception of three songs, where she had the help of Coti Sorokin, Dante Spinetta and Cachorro López. Some notable songs are "Primer Día" with its reggae rhythm, sung in a duet with Dante Spinetta, "De Qué Me Sirve", where she plays the accordion in a tango and "bolero" fashion and "Eres Para Mí", a pop duet with Chilean singer Anita Tijoux.

La Revolución is the sixth studio album, and the ninth album overall, by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. It was released on May 26, 2009 by Machete Music and WY Records. The album features collaborations with rapper 50 Cent, Ivy Queen, Yaviah, Ednita Nazario and Yomo. The album became a success in the United States and a bigger hit in Latin America. It won the Latin Music Award for Latin Rhythm Album of the Year at the 2010 Latin Billboard Music Awards. To promote the album the artists embarked on the La Revolución Tour in the US.

Amor y Suerte: Éxitos Romanticos is the fourth compilation album released by American singer Gloria Estefan, but is the twenty-fifth album overall. It released in 2004. The album was released in some European countries with the alternate title Amor y Suerte: The Spanish Love Songs. It Released internationally by Sony Discos except in Japan where the album was released by Epic Records/Sony Music Japan International. The album was released with a Limited Edition Bonus DVD in the U.S., Europe, and Mexico that contained music videos.

Una Rosa Blu is the seventh studio album by Mexican pop singer-songwriter Gloria Trevi, released by Univision Records on October 2, 2007 in Latin America and the United States. It was produced by Sergio George, Bob Benozzo and Armando Avila. This album sold over 2.000,000 copies. In the US, the album sold about 50,000 copies during the first day of release [4] 1 and later received gold and platinum certifications by the RIAA .2 In Mexico, it received Gold and Platinum certifications and reached fifth place in nationwide sales. Una Rosa Blu reached its highest position of number 3 on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums, within a few weeks of its release. In Spain it was one of the Top 100 best selling albums in 2009. Promotion of Una Rosa Blu was accompanied by five simple: Psicofonia, Cinco Minutos, Pruebamelo, El Favor De La Soledad and Lo Que Una Chica Por Amor Es Capaz which were published between 2007 and 2009. These singles reached the top five radio stations in popularity in Mexico and Latin America. Renowned producer Sergio George was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in 2009 in the category "Producer of the Year" for his work on La Vida Se Va, track number 7 on Una Rosa Blu, and his other productions with various artists. Armando Avila, who produced most of the songs on the album, was recognized as "Producer of the Year" at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in April 2010.

Talento de Barrio is the soundtrack album to the film of the same name and the fifth studio album starring Puerto Rican reggaeton singer-songwriter Daddy Yankee, who also performs the songs on the album. It was released on August 12, 2008, by Machete Music and El Cartel Records, to accompany the motion picture Talento de Barrio. The album was mainly produced by reggaeton producers Eli El Musicólogo and Menes. The album production explores reggaeton with elements of tropical music such as merengue and dancehall along with EDM and electropop sounds. It receive positive reviews and was nominated for Best Urban Album at the 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. The album was supported by four official singles: "Somos de Calle", "Pose", "Llamado de Emergencia", and "Que Tengo Que Hacer?".
