Gigan is a kaiju from Toho's Godzilla franchise who first appeared in Godzilla vs. Gigan. Gigan is a space monster resembling a species of reptile who was turned into a cyborg by the Nebulans. Gigan sports a huge buzzsaw in its frontal abdominal region, large metallic hooks for hands, and a birdlike beak. Gigan is considered one of Godzilla's most brutal and violent opponents, and the first kaiju in the Toho sci-fi series to make him noticeably bleed. Complex listed the character as No. 2 on its "The 15 Most Badass Kaiju Monsters of All Time" list.

The Gospel According to the Meninblack is the fifth album by English rock band the Stranglers, an esoteric concept album released 9 February 1981 on the Liberty label. The album deals with conspiratorial ideas surrounding alien visitations to Earth, the sinister governmental men in black, and the involvement of these elements in well-known biblical narratives. This was not the first time the Stranglers had used this concept; "Meninblack" on the earlier The Raven album and subsequent 1980 single-release "Who Wants the World?" had also explored it.

The character is based on the three-headed King Ghidorah, a fictional monster who appears as Godzilla's enemy in the Godzilla films.

The Good Morning Vietnam EP is an eight-track, 2012 extended play by underground hip hop artists MF Grimm & Drasar Monumental released on prominent underground label Vendetta Vinyl. The album was preceded by the promotional mixtape Preemptive Strike earlier the same year. The EP follows the theme of the Vietnam war as a very loose thematic backdrop and is the first of three planned releases between the two artists on the Vendetta Vinyl label. The EP's CD and digital mp3 releases only contain one twenty-minute track to give the feel of a vinyl release. While both the CD and 12" Vinyl releases advertise that the album contains the instrumentals, only the vinyl release actually does, on the B side. The full-length sequel, Good Morning Vietnam 2: The Golden Triangle was released in 2013.
