Dimitrij Kotschnew (born July 15, 1981) is a Kazakhstani-born German former professional ice hockey goaltender.
Kotschnew played six seasons for the Iserlohn Roosters over two spells. [1] From 2004 to 2007, he served as their starting goaltender. He has also played in the Kontinental Hockey League. [2] He returned to Germany in 2012, signing for the Hamburg Freezers. [3]
Kotschnew has also played internationally for the German national team. [4]
Kotschnew was born in Kazakhstan, however moved to Germany when he was nine years old. Due to his Russian German descent he also holds Russian citizenship. [5]

Jere Juhani Karalahti is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings as their sixth-round pick in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft and played a total of 166 games in the NHL. Karalahti won the 1998 Liiga championship in his native Finland. He is a three-time silver medalist at World Championships and also won one bronze with the Finnish national team. His playing career included stints in Finland, the US, Germany, Belarus and Sweden.
Matt Pelech is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman/forward who last played for and captained the Belfast Giants of the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). He formerly played with the Calgary Flames and the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Pelech was a draft pick of the Flames, selected in the first round, 26th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut in 2009 as a defenceman with the Flames. He has since switched to right wing and become known as an enforcer. His brothers, Michael Pelech and Adam Pelech, also play professionally.
The Hamburg Freezers were a professional men's ice hockey club from Hamburg, Germany that played in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. The club announced its withdrawal from the DEL and ceased operations on 24 May 2016 when Anschutz Entertainment Group, which owned both the Freezers and Eisbären Berlin, felt it was no longer financially viable to own two teams within the same hockey league.

He played for the Hamburg Freezers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, and with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was also part of the Penguins team when they won the Stanley Cup in 2009.
