Dion Bentley (born August 26, 1971) is an American long jumper.
Bentley attended Penn Hills High School, where he had a stellar track career, [1] including setting the still current American Junior record in the long jump. [2] He was Track and Field News "High School Athlete of the Year" in 1989. [3]
He went to the University of Florida, where he continued to compete in the long jump and holds the Gators' indoor (26 ft 8+1⁄4 in or 8.13 m) and outdoor (27 ft 6+1⁄2 in or 8.39 m) records. [4] Bentley had the unfortunate timing of reaching the elite ranks at the peak of the careers of Carl Lewis, Mike Powell, Larry Myricks and Joe Greene among others, [4] reaching as high as #6 on the U.S. rankings in 1994 in his three visits to the top ten. [5] As of 2013, he ranks as #50 on the all-time world performer list. [6]
Michael Alexander Conley Sr. is an American former track and field athlete who competed primarily in the triple jump and the long jump. In the triple jump, he won an Olympic gold medal in 1992, silver in 1984, and gold in the 1993 World Championship.
Kenny Harrison is a former track and field athlete competing in triple jump. He won the gold medal at the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta.
Hollis Conway is a track and field high jumper and a two-time Olympic medalist. He is currently employed by Lafayette Consolidated Government as the PARC Director in Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory's administration. Conway previously served as the assistant director of Diversity, Leadership, & Education for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football team under head coach Billy Napier. Conway was the top-ranked high jumper in the U.S. seven straight years from 1988 to 1994 and in the world for two of those years. Conway, John Thomas and Dwight Stones are the only Americans to win two Olympic medals in the high jump.

Erick Walder is an American former long jumper. He was a silver medalist at the 1997 World Championships in Athletics and twice bronze medallist at the IAAF World Indoor Championships. He also took two silver medals at the Goodwill Games.

His personal best of 18.14 m, set at the Jim Bush Southern California USATF Championships in Long Beach on June 29, 2019, ranks him as the No. 4 triple jumper of all time.
Jeffrey Henderson is an American track and field athlete who competes in the long jump and 100-meter dash. He has a personal record of 8.52 m for the long jump by winning the 2015 Pan Am Games gold medal. At the long jump at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Henderson captured gold for Team USA, its first in the event since 2004. Henderson added a silver medal at the 2019 outdoor world championships. Other top results include becoming the 2014, 2016 and 2018 USA Outdoor national long jump champion.

She is the daughter of retired National Football League (NFL) quarterback Randall Cunningham, niece of retired NFL fullback Sam Cunningham, and the younger sister of Randall Cunningham II. Her mother is Felicity de Jager Cunningham, a former ballerina with the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Vashti, like her brother two years ahead of her in school, jumped for Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada until March 2016 when she signed with Nike. She announced at that time she intended to continue her education at a university while competing as a professional athlete.

Bryan McBride is an American track and field athlete who competes primarily in the high jump. McBride has coached long Jump, triple Jump and high Jump at Cuyamaca College since 2016. McBride is the 2017 National Champion, tying his personal best of 2.30 m. His exuberant celebration, running halfway down the football field in Hornet Stadium after the winning jump was captured on NBC's television coverage. He was also runner-up at the 2016 Indoor Championships.
Jeron Robinson is an American track and field high jumper. He is a three time NCAA Div II Outdoor Champion (2013-2015) while jumping for Texas A&M–Kingsville. His 2015 victory was capped by a personal best 2.31 m, to set the NCAA Division II record. He also won the 2013 DII Indoor Championships, finishing second and third the following years. He was the USTFCCCA Div. II Male Athlete of the Year in 2014 and 2015.
