Jet was an Australian rock band, formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2001. For most of the band's tenure, it consisted of lead guitarist Cameron Muncey, bassist Mark Wilson, and brothers Nic and Chris Cester. The group sold 6.5 million albums worldwide, releasing three studio albums: 2003's Get Born, 2006's Shine On and 2009's Shaka Rock. The band dissolved in 2012, and reformed in 2016 for a run of shows before splitting again at the end of 2019.
Thirsty Merc are an Australian pop rock band formed in 2002 by Rai Thistlethwayte, Phil Stack, Karl Robertson (drums), and Matthew Baker (guitar). In 2004, Baker was replaced by Sean Carey, who was, in turn, replaced by Matt Smith in 2010. Thirsty Merc have released one extended play, First Work, and four studio albums: Thirsty Merc, Slideshows, Mousetrap Heart and Shifting Gears. On 30 May 2022 the band announced their fifth studio album, Celebration, to be released 17 June 2022. The band have sold over 200,000 albums, toured extensively around Australia, and received national radio airplay for their tracks.

Why? is an American alternative hip hop and indie rock band. The band was founded in 2004 by Cincinnati rapper and singer Yoni Wolf, who had been using Why? as his stage name since 1997. In addition to Wolf, who serves as lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, the band consists of multi-instrumentalists and backing vocalists Doug McDiarmid and Matt Meldon, and drummer and backing vocalist Josiah Wolf, who is Yoni Wolf's older brother.
Nicholas John "Nic" Cester is an Australian musician, singer, songwriter and guitarist, known for being the frontman in rock band Jet alongside his younger brother Chris. Cester is also a founder of the Australian supergroup The Wrights. Jet's track "Are You Gonna Be My Girl", has won APRA Awards for 'Most Performed Australian Work Overseas' in 2006 and 2007.

Mark Jeffrey Wilson is an Australian musician, originally from Geelong. From 2002 to 2012, and since their 2017 comeback, he has played bass guitar for the Melbourne-based rock band, Jet. He was asked to join them by three founding members, Nic Cester, Chris Cester and Cameron Muncey, but initially refused out of loyalty to his then-current group, The CA$inos. Days later he rang up Muncey and the Cesters and agreed to join their group instead.
"Save the Day" is a song by Australian punk rock band The Living End, released in September 1998. It is the first official single taken from the band's self-titled album, following the release of the Second Solution / Prisoner of Society EP the previous year. The song spent 17 weeks in the Australian ARIA Singles Chart, peaking at No. 22, and reached No. 10 on Triple J's Hottest 100 for 1998. Cameron Thane Muncey is an Australian guitarist and vocalist. He is the mainstay lead guitarist and one of the songwriters of Melbourne-based rock band Jet which formed in 2001. Muncey co-wrote many of Jet's hits with Nic and Chris Cester, including "Are You Gonna Be My Girl", "Radio Song", "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" and "Cold Hard Bitch".
Christopher James Cester is an Australian musician, songwriter, producer and founding mainstay drummer and backing vocalist of rock band, JET. As a member of JET, Cester has won awards as a songwriter from the Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) including in 2005 as Songwriter of the Year, and 2011 for "Seventeen", which won Most Played Australian Work and Rock Work of the Year.
Faker are an Australian alternative rock band, formed in 1996 by mainstay Nathan Hudson on lead vocals, piano and guitar. They have released three studio albums, Addicted Romantic, Be the Twilight and Get Loved. Their highest charting single, "This Heart Attack" (2007), peaked at No. 9 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The group disbanded in December 2013, but they announced their reformation in October 2020.
Cosmic Psychos are an Australian punk rock band which formed in 1982 as Spring Plains. Founding members included Ross Knight on bass guitar and vocals; Robbie Addington on guitar and vocals; and Steve Morrow on vocals. Australian rock music historian, Ian McFarlane, described their music as "arty kind of punk noise, somewhere between The Birthday Party and a more narcotic sounding Ramones". Late in 1984 the group was renamed as Cosmic Psychos. They issued their debut album, Down on the Farm, in December 1985. Several albums have followed and were backed by national tours and international tours to Europe and North America including festivals with Mudhoney, Nirvana, L7, Helmet and Motörhead. In 1990 Jones was replaced by Robbie Watts on guitar and vocals. By 2005 Walsh was replaced by Dean Muller on drums. On 1 July 2006 Watts died of a heart attack, aged 47, and the band continued with John McKeering joining.

Right! Right! Right! is a video album by Melbourne-based rock band Jet, recorded from their performance at the Forum theatre, Melbourne. The performance was on the tour following the release of their debut album, "Get Born". The DVD also contains videoclips of selected video clips. In addition to this, it contains the documentary "Take It Or Leave It", named after one of the band's songs, which records their early success and feelings on events that interrupted the progress and recording of Get Born.
Jim Ronald White is an Australian drummer, songwriter, and producer. In 1992 he formed Dirty Three, an instrumental rock band, with fellow mainstays Warren Ellis on violin; and Mick Turner on guitar. In Dirty Three, White sometimes shares songwriting duties with Ellis and Turner.
Horsehead are an Australian hard rock band which formed in late 1991 with Scott Kingman on guitar (ex-Cattletruck), Cameron McKenzie on guitar, Andy McLean on vocals, Mick Vallance on bass guitar and Craig Waugh on drums. They toured nationally and internationally as well as supporting United States group, Metallica, on the Australian leg of their April 1998 tour. The band issued three albums, Horsehead (1993), Onism (1996) and Goodbye Mothership (1999) before disbanding in 2000. According to Australian rock music historian, Ian McFarlane, their style of "stadium rock mixed a Led Zeppelinesque bottom-end kick with gut-thumping Faith No More-styled riffs. Nothing subtle or innovative, but everything delivered with great force and conviction".
Shaka Rock is the third studio album by Australian rock band Jet. It was released on 21 August 2009 by Virgin Records.
Moler are a power pop band which formed in 1993 as a three-piece with founding mainstays Helen Cattanach on bass guitar and lead vocals and Julien Poulsen on lead guitar. They featured a changing line-up of drummers and sometimes worked as a four-piece with a keyboardist. Their sole studio album, Golden Duck, was released in October 1997 via Infectious with Lindsay Gravina producing. They disbanded in 2001.
