Disney Channel Hits: Take 2 is a CD and DVD collection of songs and music videos from Disney Channel Original Movies and the follow-up to Disney Channel Hits: Take 1 (2004). Released on April 24, 2005, the CD includes songs from The Cheetah Girls , Stuck in the Suburbs , Pixel Perfect , Zenon: Z3 , Halloweentown High , Tiger Cruise and a bonus track by Christy Carlson Romano. The DVD includes four music videos of select songs from the CD.

<i>Stuck in the Suburbs</i>

Stuck in the Suburbs is a Disney Channel Original Movie. It was released on July 16, 2004, and stars Danielle Panabaker as Brittany Aarons and Brenda Song as Natasha Kwon-Schwartz. Brittany, a regular middle school student in the suburbs, accidentally exchanges cell phones with pop singer Jordan Cahill. This was one of the first Television films by Disney which was also accompanied by its own soundtrack. The film gathered 3.7 million viewers which made the film the most-watched telecast in its time period in the kids 6–11 and 9–14 demographics. The film's soundtrack entered the U.S. Billboard 200 and peaked at #5 on the Billboard Top Kid Audio charts.

Disney Girlz Rock is a compilation of teen pop songs that have been used in Disney Channel and Disney-related productions. The Kim Possible soundtrack is an album released on July 22, 2003 by Walt Disney Records. It contains songs from the Disney Channel series Kim Possible. Hears Premears, Vol. 1: Music from Disney Channel Original Movies is a compilation album of various songs featured in Disney Channel Original Movies. Released on November 16, 1999 by Hollywood Records, at least one song from a Disney Channel film released at the time is represented on the compilation, with the exception of Halloweentown. Despite the implications of the title, no direct follow-up volumes were released, until a very similar compilation, Disney Channel Hits: Take 2 (2005), was released over five years later.
