Dmitry Tishkin (born 5 February 1980) is a Russian cross-country skier. He competed in the men's sprint event at the 2002 Winter Olympics. [1]

Dmitry Anatolyevich Dorofeyev is a speed skater. Dorofeyev won a silver medal in the 500 m at the 2006 Winter Olympics. His second-place finish was Russia's first Olympic speed skating medal since 1994. He placed tenth in the 1,000 m event. Earlier that year, he won silver at the World Sprint Championships.

Dmitry Vladimirovich Vasilyev is a former Russian biathlete. At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Vasilyev won a gold medal with the Soviet relay team, which consisted of himself, Juri Kashkarov, Algimantas Šalna and Sergei Bulygin. He received another relay gold medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.

Dmitry Nelyubin was a Soviet-Russian track cyclist. At the age of 17 Nelyubin, together with teammates Viatcheslav Ekimov, Artūras Kasputis and Gintautas Umaras, won the 4000 meter team pursuit event at the 1988 Summer Olympics held in Seoul. Nelyubin was killed in a street fight on the New Year night of 1 January 2005. Murder suspects, natives of Kabardino-Balkaria, were arrested four years later, in December 2008; the trial began in May 2009 and in September 2009 the jury declared one of the suspects guilty of murder.

Kyrgyzstan sent a delegation to compete in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from 12–28 February 2010. The Kyrgyzstani delegation consisted of two athletes, alpine skier Dmitry Trelevski and cross-country skier Olga Reshetkova. The best performance in any event by the delegation was Reshetkova's 54th place in the women's sprint.
