Do Not Talk Over Me is the debut album of material from Greek-Australian comic character, Guido Hatzis. The album is a compilation of prank call segments from the Triple M radio show, CRUD. The album was released in November 1999 and peaked at number 11 on the ARIA Charts and was certified platinum.

At the ARIA Music Awards of 2000 the album won the ARIA Award for Best Comedy Release. [1]

Guido Hatzis is a Greek-Australian comic character created by Australian comedians Tony Moclair and Julian Schiller and voiced by Moclair. Guido appeared originally on Schiller and Moclair's radio program "Crud" on the Australian Radio Network Triple M. Most of Guido's comedy involves making prank calls that are usually centred on outrageous claims about his looks and abilities, Greek stereotypes, and extreme bluntness.

The First Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards was held on 2 March 1987 at the Sheraton Wentworth Hotel in Sydney with Elton John as the host. The awards were introduced by ARIA Chairman, Paul Turner, who explained the nomination and voting procedures. Presenters of the 20 awards included Slim Dusty, Basia Bonkowski and Donnie Sutherland. The ceremony was not televised. The most successful artist was John Farnham with his album and its associated single, "You're the Voice" helping him win six awards.
