Dominic Blampied (born 10 July 1996) is a cricketer who plays for Jersey. [1] In May 2019, he was named in Jersey's squad for the 2019 T20 Inter-Insular Cup against Guernsey. [2] [3] He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Jersey against Guernsey on 31 May 2019. [4] Blampied was named the player of the series after scoring 92 runs and taking 6 wickets. [5] [6]

The same month, he was named in Jersey's squad for the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier tournament in Guernsey. [7] He played in Jersey's opening match of the Regional Finals, also against Guernsey, on 15 June 2019. [8]

He was a member of Jersey's squad for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament in the United Arab Emirates. [9] He was the joint-leading wicket-taker for Jersey in the tournament, with seven dismissals in six matches. [10] In November 2019, he was named in Jersey's squad for the Cricket World Cup Challenge League B tournament in Oman. [11] He made his List A debut, for Jersey against Uganda, on 2 December 2019. In October 2021, Blampied was named in Jersey's T20I squad for the Regional Final of the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier tournament. [13]

In June 2022, he was named in Jersey's squad for the 2022 Uganda Cricket World Cup Challenge League B tournament. [14] In the opening match of the tournament, against Uganda, Blampied took his first five-wicket haul in List A cricket. [15]

In March 2023, Blampied was named in Jersey's squad for the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off. [16] He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Jersey, on 30 March 2023, against Namibia in that tournament. [17]

Guernsey cricket team hosted Jersey cricket team from 31 May to 1 June 2019 to contest the 2019 T20 Inter-Insular Cup, consisted of three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The series took place at two grounds in Guernsey: College Field in Saint Peter Port and King George V Sports Ground in Castel. The two sides had played an Inter-Insular match annually since 1950, generally as 50-over contests. A Twenty20 series was played for the first time in 2018, with Jersey winning the inaugural series 3–0.
