Don't Move is an upcoming American horror-thriller film starring Kelsey Asbille, Finn Wittrock and Daniel Francis. It was directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto, and written by T.J. Cimfel and David White. It is scheduled to be released by Netflix on October 25, 2024.
The plot is about "a seasoned killer who injects a grieving woman with a paralytic agent. She must run, fight and hide before her body completely shuts down". [2]
In December 2022, it was reported that Adam Schindler and Brian Netto would direct the horror thriller Don't Move, written by T.J. Cimfel and David White. [5] It was produced by Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi of Raimi Productions, Christian Mercuri's Capstone Studios, Alex Lebovici of Hammerstone Studios, and Sarah Sarandos. [2] [6]
In May 2023, Kelsey Asbille and Finn Wittrock were cast in lead roles. [2] Principal photography took place in Bulgaria from June to late July 2023. [7] [2] Two days before completion, production was granted an interim agreement to continue filming during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. [7] [8] Mark Korven and Michelle Osis scored the film. [9]
In November 2023, Signature Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the United Kingdom and Ireland. [10] In April 2024, Netflix bought worldwide rights. [11] The film is scheduled to be released on October 25, 2024. [4]
Samuel M. Raimi is an American film director, screenwriter and producer. He is best known for directing the first three films in the Evil Dead franchise (1981–present) and the Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007). He also directed the superhero movie Darkman (1990), the revisionist western The Quick and the Dead (1995), the neo-noir crime thriller A Simple Plan (1998), the supernatural thriller The Gift (2000), the supernatural horror Drag Me to Hell (2009), the Disney fantasy Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), and the Marvel Studios film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022).
Edgar Howard Wright is an English filmmaker. He is known for his fast-paced and kinetic, satirical genre films, which feature extensive utilisation of expressive popular music, Steadicam tracking shots, dolly zooms and a signature editing style that includes transitions, whip pans and wipes. He first made independent short films before making his first feature film A Fistful of Fingers in 1995. Wright created and directed the comedy series Asylum in 1996, written with David Walliams. After directing several other television shows, Wright directed the sitcom Spaced (1999–2001), which aired for two series and starred frequent collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
Kelsey Asbille Chow is an American actress. She has played Mikayla in the Disney XD sitcom Pair of Kings, and Monica Long in the Paramount Network western drama series Yellowstone. From 2005 to 2009, she had a recurring role as Gigi Silveri on the drama One Tree Hill. She portrayed Tracy Stewart in MTV's Teen Wolf from 2015 to 2016.
Peter L. Wittrock Jr., known professionally as Finn Wittrock, is an American actor who began his career in guest roles on several television shows. He made his film debut in 2004, in Halloweentown High before returning to films in the 2010 film Twelve. After studying theater at The Juilliard School, he was a regular in the soap opera All My Children from 2009 to 2011, while performing in several theatrical productions. In 2011, he performed in playwright Tony Kushner's Off-Broadway play The Illusion and made his Broadway debut in 2012 as Happy Loman in the revival of Arthur Miller's play Death of a Salesman, directed by Mike Nichols.
