Background

Door is Chen's first EP since he and his Exo (and Exo-CBX) bandmates Xiumin and Baekhyun moved from SM Entertainment to the agency INB100. Chen stated that he "thought a lot about which songs to put in the album", and wanted to give fans "hope" with the lead single, "Empty". [1]

Commercial performance

The EP debuted at number four on the South Korean Circle Album Chart, selling over 71,000 copies in its first week. [2]

The album was re-released as Love Me Right on June 3. The album was a commercial success in South Korea upon its release, with XOXO and its repackage selling over 750,000 copies and 370,000 copies according to Gaon, respectively.

Chinese boy band and the fourth overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, WayV, has released two studio album, one reissue, four extended plays (EP), one single album, and eleven singles with SM Entertainment's Chinese sub-label, Label V. WayV debuted in 2019 with the single album The Vision, with a Chinese version of NCT 127's "Regular" as the lead single. In the same year, the group entered the Billboard World Albums chart for the first time with their first EP, Take Off. Their second EP, Take Over the Moon, was released on October 29, 2019, and debuted in the South Korean Gaon Album Chart and Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. In 2020, WayV's first studio album, Awaken the World, managed to enter the top ten on both Gaon and Billboard World Albums chart as well as became the group's first entry on the Japanese Oricon and Billboard Japan charts. South Korean boy band NCT Dream have released three studio albums, two reissues, one live album, five extended plays, one single album, and fifteen singles. A sub-unit of the boy band NCT, the group debuted in 2016 with the digital single "Chewing Gum", which was later featured on their first single album The First, released alongside its lead single "My First and Last" in 2017. Later that year, they released their first extended play, We Young, alongside its lead single of the same name. In 2018, they recorded the single "Go" for NCT's first studio album as a complete group, titled NCT 2018 Empathy. Lee Tae-yong, known mononymously as Taeyong, is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and dancer. He is a member and leader of South Korean boy band NCT under SM Entertainment, having debuted in the group's first sub-unit, NCT U, in 2016 and becoming the leader of its second sub-unit, NCT 127, later that year. In 2019, he debuted as a member of the South Korean supergroup SuperM, a joint project under SM Entertainment and Capitol Records. As a songwriter, Taeyong has participated in writing over 40 songs in four languages, released mostly by NCT's various units and himself as a soloist. He made his official solo debut in June 2023 with his EP Shalala, making him the first soloist from NCT.

<i>Blossom</i> (D.O. EP) 2024 EP by Doh Kyung-soo

Blossom is the third EP by South Korean singer Doh Kyung-soo. The EP was released on May 7, 2024, under Doh's newly established agency Company SooSoo and it was distributed by Dreamus. This release marks the singer's first comeback after departing SM Entertainment after 11 years with the agency.
