Shotru(Bengali: শত্রু ; English: Enemy) is a 2011 Indian Bengali-language action thriller film co-written and directed by Raj Chakraborty. The film was produced by Ashok Dhanuka under the banner of Eskay Movies. Inspired from the Rajib Das murder case in Barasat (2011) and several human trafficking cases taken places in West Bengal in 2011, it stars Jeet, Supriyo Dutta and Nusrat Jahan in lead roles, while Kharaj Mukherjee, Dipankar De, Biswajit Chakraborty, Saayoni Ghosh, Raja Dutta and Biplab Chatterjee played other pivotal roles. It marks the debut of Nusrat Jahan. The soundtrack and background score was composed by Indraadip Dasgupta, with screenplay and dialogues written by Padmanabha Dasgupta and Abhimanyu Mukherjee.
Byomkesh was a 2014 Indian Bengali crime fiction television series based on the Bengali sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The series starred Gaurav Chakrabarty, Saugata Bandyopadhyay and Ridhima Ghosh as Byomkesh Bakshi, Ajit and Satyabati respectively. The film is based on two Feluda stories - Samaddarer Chabi and Golokdham Rahasya.

Putting rest to such rumours, the shooting started from June 11 and new episodes started to air from June 15, 2020.The show went off air on 1 st August 2020.
