Down To Earth is the fourth studio album by the Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Alexis & Fido released on March 31, 2009 through Wild Dogz Music and Sony Music Latin. Being produced since 2008, the album follows the success of Sobrenatural , and contains collaborations of artists such Toby Love and Don Omar.

Though "Superheroe" enjoyed massive airplay and success in Latin America and was included in Down To Earth, the official lead single off the album was "Ojos Que No Ven", which also performed successfully in airplay. The buzz single "Gatubela" was released together with the second single off the album: "Bartender". To date, "Bartender" is the most successful song of the duo, and one of the most successful songs of 2009, reaching the number-one position in several countries. The following singles of the album were "No Debe Tocarte" and "Invencibles", which performed well in some countries. It was nominated for a Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year. [1]

Development

The album began producing in mid-to-late 2008, when their first album's single were released, "Subete" (that also had a remix version with Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Don Omar). The single wasn't as successful as expected, so the album promotion were moved to 2009, when its second single "Ojos Que No Ven" were released, being the first hit off the album.

Mas Flow 2 is the second compilation album by reggaeton producers Luny Tunes. The album was a joint venture with reggaeton artist Baby Ranks as he was featured in virtually every song in the album. Many of reggaeton's biggest names were featured in the album, such as Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel, Zion & Lennox, Tito "El Bambino", Ivy Queen, Hector "El Father", Voltio, and many others. Mas Flow 2 is one of the most critically acclaimed Latin albums of the year, and is considered to be substantially superior to the previous album. It also featured some artists from outside the reggaeton genre, such as Frankie J, Cultura Profetica, Deevani, Tony Tun-Tun, Spliff Star, among others.

Mas Flow Incorporated is a record label founded by Luny Tunes, a Dominican reggaeton production duo. It claims to be among the companies that helped expand the reggaeton genre beyond its limits. Mas Flow has many connections to the East Coast; in fact most of their producing teams come from Massachusetts in the US. Its primary headquarters is in Carolina, Puerto Rico. It has a regional office in New Jersey and Boston, Massachusetts and Rochester, New York.

"Noche de Entierro (Nuestro Amor)" (English: "Night to Bury (Our Love)") is a reggaeton song performed by artists Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel, Héctor el Father, Zion and Tony Tun Tun. The song was produced by Luny Tunes, Tainy and Doble A & Nales and written by Gabriel Padilla. The song was featured in Mas Flow: Los Benjamins and is one of the most successful songs in the history of the genre. It is usually seen as a sequel to "Mayor Que Yo". "Noche de Entierro" features music instruments like flute, accordion, guitar, bass and electronic keyboard.

Sobrenatural is the Latin Grammy-nominated second / third studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Alexis & Fido released on November 13, 2007 by Sony BMG Latin. The first single from the album is titled "5 Letras" and is produced by Doble A & Nales "Los Presidentes". Artists featured on the album are Ñejo & Dalmata, Toby Love, De La Ghetto, Voltio, Jadiel, Erick Right and Los Yetzons, a duo signed on to their Wild Dogz label. Doble A & Nales "Los Presidentes" produced the bulk of the album. Sobrenatural was nominated for a Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year.

Monserrate and DJ Urba are reggaeton producers from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, respectively. They have been on the business for some years, but they really got a start when Daddy Yankee hired them to produce his Barrio Fino Album. Then they followed up with the Barrio Fino en Directo Album. They are aligned with Luny Tunes's Mas Flow Inc and Daddy Yankee's El Cartel Records.

Josías de la Cruz, known professionally as Nely el Arma Secreta, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton producer, introduced in the genre by Luny Tunes.

<i>The Last Don 2</i> 2015 studio album by Don Omar

The Last Don II is the sixth studio album by Don Omar, released on June 16, 2015, through Pina Records and Machete Music. It is the sequel of Don Omar's first album, The Last Don, released in 2003, and includes twelve songs and includes the participation of reggaeton stars Wisin & Yandel, Daddy Yankee, Tego Calderón, Plan B, and Natti Natasha. R.K.M & Ken-Y is a reggaeton duo formed in 2003 by José Nieves (R.K.M) and Kenny Vázquez (Ken-Y). The artists are renowned in the Latin music world for being the first to successfully fuse mainstream pop music with the reggaeton street rhythms of Puerto Rico and expose the style to a wide international audience. The sound introduced by R.K.M & Ken-Y would go on to inspire the pop reggaeton songs of successful acts such as CNCO, J Balvin, and Maluma. The duo had a very successful career with the Spanish-speaking audience of Latin America, the United States, and Spain until their separation in 2013. In June 2017, the duo announced their official return by Pina Records. In mid-2021 the Duo confirmed that they are on hiatus and are currently working on their solo projects.
