Ernesto Fidel Padilla Colón (born September 5, 1973), known professionally as Nesty la Mente Maestra, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton record producer. [2] He was closely associated with reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel and reggaeton producer Víctor el Nasi. [3]
Nesty began his recording career as an associate of reggaeton hitmakers Luny Tunes during the early to mid-2000s. Known simply as Nesty, he made a name for himself apart from Luny Tunes with a pair of hit singles in 2005: "Chulin Culin Chunfly" (Voltio ft. Calle 13) and "Eso Ehh...!!" (Alexis & Fido). [4]
In 2006, Nesty produced tracks for high-profile albums by Don Omar (King of Kings) and Tego Calderón ( The Underdog/El Subestimado ), including the hit single "Los Maté" by the latter. Around this same time, Nesty began a close association with Wisin & Yandel, producing much of their album Los Vaqueros, including the hit singles "Pegao," "Yo Te Quiero," and "Nadie Como Tú." In subsequent years he remained closely associated with Wisin & Yandel, producing the bulk of their album Wisin vs. Yandel: Los Extraterrestres , including the chart-topping hit single "Sexy Movimiento," and Wisin & Yandel Presentan: La Mente Maestra in which he was co-billed on the front cover of the latter album. [5] On May 19 Nesty produced the re-edition of the album Los Vaqueros: El Regreso , named Reloaded.
In 2011 Nesty produced (Alexis & Fido) "Contestame El Teléfono" and "Donde Estés Llegaré"
Begin 2012, a few artists signed with WY Records decided to leave the record label. Among them were Franco "El Gorila", Tico "El Inmigrante" and Jayko. On January 19, it was announced that top-producer Nesty had also said goodbye to WY Records. He decided it was time to go separate ways and is about to start his own company. Rumoured albums like Tainy vs. Nesty and Nesty vs. Victor were hereby negated. [6]
In 2015 Nesty produced several tracks for Alexis & Fido in La Esencia "Santa de mi Devocion" and the Grammy Award-winning album and a nomination for BEST URBAN SONG "Dando Break".
2016 Nesty produced Alexis & Fido "Una en Un Millon", which was a Latin Grammy Award nominee.
Wisin & Yandel was a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo consisting of Wisin and Yandel. They started their career in the late 1990s and have been together until 2022 when they announced their separation, winning several awards including a Grammy Award in 2009. They became the first and the only reggaeton artists to win one. In late 2013, they announced they would take a pause in their career as a duo, after their Líderes Tour. In a 2014 interview with People en Español, Yandel confirmed that the group would not be disbanding. In February 2018, following a five-year hiatus, the duo announced they would be reuniting, and are set to embark on a world tour, as well as release new music. They sold over 15 million records.
Luny Tunes is an American reggaeton production duo consisting of Francisco Saldaña (Luny) and Víctor Cabrera (Tunes) who have been known for creating unique musical rhythms for some of the most popular reggaeton artists since the early 2000s.
Mas Flow 2 is the second compilation album by reggaeton producers Luny Tunes. The album was a joint venture with reggaeton artist Baby Ranks as he was featured in virtually every song in the album. Tony Feliciano Rivera, better known by stage name Tony Dize, is an American singer and songwriter. His first recorded performance was from the album Blin Blin, Vol. 1, with Wisin & Yandel in 2003, after which he collaborated with other artists of the genre and later released his debut album in 2008 titled La Melodía de la Calle under WY Records and Machete Music. He was signed to Pina Records and Sony Music Latin, for which he released La Melodía de la Calle: Updated in 2009.
Wisin vs. Yandel: Los Extraterrestres is the fifth studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel, released on November 6, 2007, by Machete Music. On November 13, 2008, the album received the Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Music Album and Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year. Also, the album won Grammy Award for Best Latin Urban Album on 2009.
Luny Tunes Presents La Mision 4: The Take Over is a compilation album featuring various artists from the reggaeton genre and presented by Luny Tunes. It was released on November 9, 2004. Although there were previous "La Mision" albums, Luny Tunes bought the right to use the name and continued the series with the La Mision 4.

Wisin & Yandel Presentan: La Mente Maestra is the third compilation album by WY Records and is Nesty "La Mente Maestra"'s first album. It is presented by Wisin & Yandel and was released on October 28, 2008 by WY Records and Machete Music. The album features production of famous reggaeton producers Nesty "La Mente Maestra" and Victor "El Nasi", as well as an introduction to some underground-successful reggaeton artists Jayko, Gadiel, Franco "El Gorila", and Tico "El Imigrante". The album also features contributions by Tony Dize and Alexis & Fido. The first single, "Me Estás Tentando", was released on October 21, 2008. The single debuted on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart at #50, and has so far peaked at #14. It also charted on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart at #4. La Mente Maestra won the Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year.
Down To Earth is the fourth studio album by the Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Alexis & Fido released on March 31, 2009 through Wild Dogz Music and Sony Music Latin. Being produced since 2008, the album follows the success of Sobrenatural, and contains collaborations of artists such Toby Love and Don Omar.
"No Me Digas Que No" is a song performed by Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias taken from his first bilingual studio album, Euphoria. It was produced by Carlos Paucar and Reggaeton producers Nesty "La Mente Maestra" and Victor "El Nasi". It featured Reggaeton Duó Wisin & Yandel. It was released digitally on 22 June 2010 as the second promotional Spanish single. The song hit the radio stations officially on 19 October 2010. It is the third collaborations between the artists after the remix versions of Lloro Por Tí and Gracias a Ti. The song peaked at number-one on the US Billboard Hot Latin Songs, becoming Enrique's twenty-second song to peak at number-one on the chart.
