Dreams Choked: Stories of our Government Schools is a 2017 documentary film produced by the Telangana chapter of the Students Islamic Organisation of India. [1] The 30-minute documentary, directed by young college students Mutiur Rahman Dawoodi and Abdul Mannan, throws light on the condition of government-run schools in the state of Telangana. [2]

The documentary involves a ground-level sample survey in one school in Adilabad district, two schools in Nizamabad, and two more in Karimnagar, [3] and is a study of several other surveys and RTI petitions to get to the ground reality of the schools in the state. [1]

The documentary was first premiered on 31 March 2017 at the Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI) auditorium in Hyderabad. Several academicians and intellectuals including Prof. Suleman Siddiqui, Hamid Mohammed Khan, and Dr.Lubna Sarwath spoke at the premiere. [4] The film's premiere was followed by several screenings in different parts of the state including Karimnagar, Warangal and Nizamabad.

Peddapalli is a town and Revenue Division in Peddapalli District in the Indian state of Telangana. It is the headquarters of the Peddapalli District and Peddapalli mandal. It is located about 197 kilometres North of the state capital Hyderabad, 36 kilometres from Karimnagar, 28 kilometres from Ramagundam. Kawal Tiger Reserve is a nature preserve located at Jannaram mandal of Mancherial District in the Telangana state of India. The government of India declared Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary to be a Tiger Reserve in 2012. The reserve is the oldest sanctuary in the northern Telangana region of the state. It is well known for its abundant flora and fauna. This sanctuary is catchment for the rivers Godavari and Kadam, which flow towards the south of the sanctuary.
