The Moto X Force is a high-end Android smartphone made by Motorola Mobility. Inside the United States, it is branded as the Droid Turbo 2, available exclusively in the United States for the Verizon Droid brand. It was released on October 27, 2015.^[3] The phone is marketed as having "the world's first shatterproof screen."^[4]

Hardware

The Moto X Force features a 2 GHz and 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 gigabytes of RAM, 32 or 64 gigabytes of internal storage which can be expanded up to 2 terabytes with a MicroSD card. It has a 5.4-inch AMOLED display, a 3,760 mAh battery as well as support for Motorola's TurboPower and Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, as well as PMA and Qi wireless charging standards, and a 21-megapixel main camera flanked by a 5 MP front camera with a flash.^[5]^[6]

This was the first Droid phone to be customizable through Motorola's Motomaker service, which allows customers to select various materials such as soft touch plastic, Ballistic Nylon from the original Droid Turbo, pebbled Horween leather and Saffiano leather, as well as aluminum frame, screen bezel and accent colors. The service also allows users to add a custom greeting which shows up during the Moto X Force's initial startup screen, and customers who choose the pebbled leather backs can also get a custom engraving. The 64 GB version comes with a free "Design Refresh" which allows owners to trade in their phone for a newly designed one within a year of the original purchase date.^[7] This is also the first Droid device since the Motorola Droid X2 that does not feature a DuPont Kevlar backing, a Motorola Droid trademark that started with the original Droid Razr.

Shatterproof screen

This is the first Motorola smartphone that features Motorola's "ShatterShield" technology, which consists of two touchscreen elements, reinforced by an internal aluminum frame to make it resistant to bending and cracking, although this does not protect against scratches or other superficial screen damage. The top layer of the display is designed to be user-replaceable. The screen and case also have a water repellent nanocoating to protect the device from liquids that could damage internal components.^[6]^[8]

The Motorola Droid Bionic is an Android-based, 4G LTE-capable smartphone designed by Motorola. It was originally scheduled for release in Q2 2011 but was delayed, eventually being released on 8 September 2011.

The Droid Turbo is a high end smartphone developed by Motorola Mobility. It is part of the Verizon Droid line, and was announced on October 28, 2014 on the Verizon Droid Does website. The Droid Turbo maintains a similar design shape to its predecessor, the Droid Maxx, with new durable ballistic nylon or metallized glass fiber reinforced with Kevlar as the materials offered. The on-screen buttons for back, home, and multitask functions were kept off-screen as capacitive soft-keys below the display.

The second generation Moto E is an Android smartphone developed by Motorola Mobility. Released on February 25, 2015, it is a successor to the Moto E released in 2014. The New Moto E is a low-end device for first-time smartphone owners or budget-minded consumers, and is available in 40 countries worldwide.

The third-generation Moto G is an Android smartphone developed by Lenovo's subsidiary Motorola Mobility, unveiled in India on July 28, 2015 and released the same day. The Moto G4 is its successor.

Moto X Play is an Android smartphone developed by Motorola Mobility, a subsidiary of Lenovo. Unveiled on July 28, 2015, it was one of three devices that succeeded the second-generation Moto X. In contrast to the high-end Moto X Style, the Play is a mid-range device distinguished by its high battery capacity.

Moto Z is an Android smartphone developed by Motorola Mobility. Unveiled on June 9, 2016, as its flagship model for the year, the Moto Z is distinguished by the "Moto Mods" technosystem which allows case accessories to be magnetically attached to the device to provide additional functionality. Moto G5 is a series of Android smartphones developed by Motorola Mobility, a subsidiary of Lenovo. It is the fifth generation of the Moto G family. Announced as successors to the Moto G4, they were first released in March 2017 in several markets including India and Europe. The original variants are the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus, the latter also being available as an Amazon Prime version in the United States. The mid-cycle updates, the Moto G5s and Moto G5s Plus, were released in August 2017.

The Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus are Android smartphones developed by Motorola Mobility, a subsidiary of Lenovo. They were released in June 2017. The phones are regarded as being low-budget and having a long battery life. The E4 model has a 2,800 mAh battery and the E4 Plus has a 5,000 mAh battery. The Moto E4 has an 8 megapixel camera, while the Plus version has a 13 megapixel one. Both Moto E4 variants also have custom ROMs available.

Moto C is a smartphone developed by Motorola Mobility, a subsidiary of Lenovo. It is a low-end device developed primarily for the emerging markets. It was released on May 1, 2017.

Moto G 5G and Motorola One 5G Ace are Android phablets developed by Motorola Mobility, a subsidiary of Lenovo. The Moto G 5G branded variant was initially released in December 2020. In the United States, it was released as Motorola One 5G Ace on 13 January 2021.
