Dudu is a 2003 extended play album by Tarkan. This was his first album to be released through his own record label, HITT Music. It holds five songs and five remixes. [1] The album was published in Europe and Asia. The sales of the album exceeded 1 million copies worldwide. To support the album, beginning in November 2003 Tarkan gave solo performances in Turkey and other countries. In 2004 as part of Dudu World tour Tarkan visited Austria, Germany, France, United States, Ukraine, Russia, Finland, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

Tarkan's 2003 musical offering was his first album to be released under his own label HITT Music and the first Tarkan album to be packaged in a Digipak. Technically it could be classed as an EP release with only five edits and five remixes, but it is generally viewed as an album as its track length is over 35 minutes. Dudu was the first hybrid album of its kind in Turkey to sell over 1,000,000 copies. Tarkan Tevetoğlu is a Turkish singer-songwriter. Since the early 1990s, with the successful sales of his albums, he has been a prominent figure of pop music, recognized in Turkey and worldwide.
Orhan Gencebay is a Turkish musician, bağlama virtuoso, composer, singer, arranger, music producer, music director, and actor. Gencebay was born in the coastal town of Samsun on 4 August 1944. He is of Crimean Tatar descent. In 1998, he was named a State Artist of Turkey.
Erkan Oğur is a Turkish musician. A pioneer of fretless guitars, he invented the first fretless classical guitar in 1976. A composer, he has influenced many musicians with his compositions combining the sounds of Turkish folk music and classical music with the ancient traditional music. He has played many concerts all over the world. He is regarded as a master of the kopuz and bağlama lutes.
Aacayipsin is the 1994 album of the Turkish pop singer Tarkan. The album was published in Europe and Asia. This was his second album, the success of which launched him as a superstar onto the Turkish pop scene with over 2.5 million copies sold worldwide. The album also sold over 500 thousand copies in Europe, a first-ever feat for a Turkish performer.
Âşık Veysel was a Turkish Alevi ashik and highly regarded poet of the Turkish folk literature. He was born in the Sivrialan village of the Şarkışla district, in the province of Sivas. He was an ashik, poet, songwriter, and a bağlama virtuoso, the prominent representative of the Anatolian ashik tradition in the 20th century. He was blind for most of his lifetime. His songs are usually sad tunes, often dealing with the inevitability of death. However, Veysel used a wide range of themes for his lyrics; based on morals, values, and constant questioning of issues such as love, care, beliefs, and how he perceived the world as a blind man.
Karma is Tarkan's fourth studio album, released in 2001. His fifth music project and his fourth original release, this album moved away from pop to worldbeat melodies fused with electronica sounds and became the all time third best selling album in Turkey. The album was recorded in Istanbul, Los Angeles, New York City, Egypt and Europe. Album was published in Europe, North America, Asia, Japan, Russia. The tour "Kuzu Kuzu" which began in January 2002 was very successful as well and Tarkan performed in 19 countries and gave 26 concerts.
Ölürüm Sana is Tarkan's third studio album, released on July 5, 1997. The album was distributed in both Europe and Asia. It sold more than 3 million copies in Turkey, and a total of 4 million worldwide, and sales continued till 2003. This album received very good reviews, becoming one of Turkey's best-selling albums, and played a heavy role in catapulting Tarkan to the status of 'Mega-Star'.
Shamans is the seventh album by the Azeri jazz artist Aziza Mustafa Zadeh, released in 2002. In the liner notes, Zadeh left a comment about each song. The artwork contains a number of paintings by her. Around 2,000,000 copies of this album were sold worldwide.

Erdal Erzincan is a Turkish Alevi folk musician, composer, and singer. In 1981, he moved to Istanbul and studied bağlama at the Arif Sağ music school in 1985. Since 1989, he has been studying music at Istanbul Technical University. He has contributed to the development of the şelpe technique for playing bağlama without a plectrum, akin to tapping on guitar.
