Ahde Vefa (Agreements Must Be Kept) is the compilation album by Turkish singer Tarkan. [1] It was released on 11 March 2016 by HITT Production and distributed by DMC. [2] It later received the Best Project award at the 43rd Golden Butterfly Awards. [3]
The album is Tarkan's first classical Turkish album. It contains 13 songs in total. [4]
Tarkan has talked about the importance of classical Turkish music and its special place for himself, naming it as an inspiration to find and develop his own music style: “I'm now experiencing a sweet excitement to share this long-awaited album with you. This album has come to life with your influence and contributions. I wish Ahde Vefa removes the dark clouds of your hearts, and fill them instead with love, even if it's for a short moment." [5]
The album was released by iTunes in Latin America and Middle East, alongside 35 other countries including Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Russia, India, Egypt, the United States and Canada. The album topped the ‘World Music Top Charts’ in England, Denmark, the Netherlands, the United States and Germany following its release. It also ranked first on iTunes' "Top Albums" list in Azerbaijan. [6] With this success, Tarkan became the first Turkish artist with the most number of promotions on iTunes worldwide. [7] The album sold 170,000 copies on its first week of release. [8] [9] It became the album with the most number of sales in Turkey after 2010 ( Adımı Kalbine Yaz). Sertab Erener is a Turkish singer, songwriter and composer. With her coloratura soprano voice, she started working as a backing vocalist for Sezen Aksu, and with Aksu's help she released her first studio album in the 1990s. Because of her education in classical music, she initially had difficulties in performing pop music. Although she did experimental works from time to time, she eventually preferred to focus on making pop music instead of making avant-garde works, in order to make her music heard by a larger audience. In some of her works, she combined Western music and Eastern music, and benefited from operas as well as classical Turkish music together with ethnic elements. With her entrance to Europe's market in the early 2000s, many of her works were also sold in Turkey as well as European countries.

Boz released his second single, "Hayat Sana Güzel", in March 2010. On 12 April 2011, a music video for the lead single from the album Aşklarım Büyük Benden was released. On 9 May 2011, the album itself was released. The songs "Hayat Öpücüğü", "Geri Dönüş Olsa", "Kalamam Arkadaş", "Bulmaca" and "Soyadımsın" from this album were the pieces for which separate music videos were released. Out of these songs, "Geri Dönüş Olsa" and "Kalamam Arkadaş" topped the official music charts inside Turkey. In August 2012, Boz released his first remix album under the title Dance Mix.
Bengü Kelleci is a Turkish singer. She became first familiar with music during her time at the İzmir State Symphony Orchestra. In İzmir, she was cast in a leading role in the musical "Oliver Twist". She later took singing lessons with İzmir State Conservatory's general manager, Müfit Bayraş. In 1998, by performing a song by Müfit Bayşara, she ranked second at the competition Pop Show '98, organized by Mü-Yap and Show TV. She then studied music at Istanbul Academy. Adimi Kalbine Yaz is Turkish pop singer Tarkan's studio album, and was released on 29 July 2010 in Turkey. Album was published in Turkiye. The album sold more than 300,000 copies in the first week of its release and received the best album of the year award from Kral TV Music Awards.
"Sevdanın Son Vuruşu" is a 2010 single by Turkish singer Tarkan. The words of the song were written by famous Turkish songwriter Aysel Gürel, who was deceased in 2008. After Aysel Gurel's death, a new tenant had found the song's lyrics left in the apartment. After asking for permission from Gürel's daughter Müjde Ar, Tarkan composed the music and published the song in his 2010 album, Adimi Kalbine Yaz.
