East Forsyth High School is a public high school located in the town of Kernersville in Forsyth County, North Carolina. East Forsyth was established in 1962, and is a part of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools system.
East Forsyth was established in 1962, after consolidating Kernersville, Walkertown and Glenn High School all into one school. The school colors (navy blue and white), the mascot (the eagle), Alma Mater and fight song were all decided before the first ever bell rang. In the 1980s, silver was added to their schools colors but it eventually shifted to gray. [3]
East Forsyth is a member of the 7A/8A Central Piedmont Conference of the NCHSAA.
