The East Kimberley Football League is an Australian rules football competition based in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, with some clubs also located across the border in the Northern Territory.
The league was formed in 1970. [1]

The Kimberley is the northernmost of the nine regions of Western Australia. It is bordered on the west by the Indian Ocean, on the north by the Timor Sea, on the south by the Great Sandy and Tanami deserts in the region of the Pilbara, and on the east by the Northern Territory.
Yuendumu is a town in the Northern Territory of Australia, 293 km (182 mi) northwest of Alice Springs on the Tanami Road, within the Central Desert Region local government area. It ranks as one of the larger remote communities in central Australia, and has a thriving community of Aboriginal artists. It is home to Pintubi Anmatjere Warlpiri (PAW) Media, which produced the TV series Bush Mechanics.

Gerrick Peter Weedon is an Australian rules footballer who previously played with the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Originally from the Kimberley region of Western Australia, Weedon moved to Perth to play for Claremont, before being recruited by West Coast with the 22nd pick overall in the 2009 National Draft, playing his first game for the club in round seven of the 2011 season. Due to his inability to break into West Coast's senior side, Weedon spent most of his time at the club playing in the WAFL, playing in Claremont's premiership sides in both 2011 and 2012. He was delisted from West Coast at the end of the 2012 season.
Country Football WA (CFWA) is the governing body for the sport of Australian rules football in the non-metropolitan areas of Western Australia. The organisation was founded in 1973 as the Western Australian National Country Football League (WANCFL) before becoming the West Australian Country Football League in 1979. The organisation rebranded to its current name in September 2023.

Kimberley Miners Welfare Football Club is a football club based in Kimberley, Nottinghamshire, England. They are currently members of the United Counties League Premier Division North and play at the Stag Ground.

She made her debut in the fourteen point loss to Melbourne at VU Whitten Oval in round three of the 2017 season. She played four matches in her debut season. She was delisted by the Western Bulldogs at the end of the 2018 season.
