The Northern line is a London Underground line that runs from North London to South London. It is printed in black on the Tube map. The Northern line is unique on the Underground network in having two different routes through central London, two southern branches and two northern branches. Despite its name, it does not serve the northernmost stations on the Underground, though it does serve the southernmost station at Morden, the terminus of one of the two southern branches.

A short headwater – the Caterham Bourne – is partially in Surrey, the historic county of the river's catchment. Tributaries of the Wandle include Carshalton Ponds and Norbury Brook.
Beverley Brook is a 14.3 km (8.9 mi)-long river in the south-western suburbs of London, England. It rises in Worcester Park and joins the River Thames to the north of the Putney Embankment at Barn Elms, having flowed through the green spaces of Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park, Barnes Common and Putney Lower Common on its course. It is followed for much of its course by the Beverley Brook Walk.
Pyl Brook is a small stream in southwest London. It is a tributary of Beverley Brook, which is a tributary of the River Thames. Pyl Brook has two sources. The 5.3 kilometre main brook rises in Sutton Common in Sutton and flows through the London Borough of Merton to join Beverley Brook at Beverley Park in New Malden. The 3.9 kilometre East Pyl Brook also rises in Sutton and flows through Merton, joining the main Pyl east of Grand Drive in Raynes Park.
Lower Morden is an area within the district of Morden in south west corner of the London Borough of Merton, to the west of Morden Park and south of Raynes Park.

Merton Urban District (1907–1913) and Merton and Morden Urban District (1913–1965) was an urban district in Surrey, England. It was formed in 1907 from the parish of Merton and was expanded in 1913 to take in Morden. The district was abolished in 1965 and its former area now forms part of the London Borough of Merton in Greater London.
Morden Road is a Tramlink stop in the London Borough of Merton. It is on the site of the former Morden Road railway station on the Wimbledon-West Croydon line, which closed to rail traffic in 1997. The tram stop consists of two platforms on either side of the double track, linked by pedestrian level crossings. Immediately to the east of the station is a single-track section which reaches as far as Phipps Bridge tram stop.
Sutton Common is the name of former common land and a district and neighbourhood located in Sutton, London. The area is mostly located within the London Borough of Sutton, with some of the streets to the north and west of Sutton Common Park adjoining Lower Morden and Morden within the London Borough of Merton. Much of the area is taken up by the large Kimpton Park commercial and industrial estate, adjoining the A217. It is served by Sutton Common railway station. The area to the south and east of Oldfields Road uses an SM1 postcode and the area to the north and west uses SM3.
Morden Park is a 50-hectare (120-acre) public park and Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade 1, in the district of Morden Park in the London Borough of Merton. Of this, 28 hectares is a Local Nature Reserve. It is owned and managed by Merton Council. It includes Morden Park House.
Derwent Floodwash is a 1.8 hectare Local Nature Reserve and Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade II, in Morden Park in the London Borough of Merton. It is owned by the London Borough of Wandsworth and managed by Merton Council. The site borders Pyl Brook, and it is designed to store flood waters when the brook overflows, preventing flooding of properties downstream.
Coombe Brook is a 1 km long stream (brook) in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, London, England, that is a tributary to Beverley Brook, itself a tributary of the River Thames. Rising in Malden Golf Course in New Malden, Coombe Brook flows a northeasterly course through the golf course, then into a culvert under the Kingston By-pass section of the A3 road, before finally flowing into the Beverly Brook near Coombe on the boundary of the London Borough of Merton.

Morden Cemetery, also known as Battersea New Cemetery, is a cemetery in the Lower Morden area of the town of Morden within the London Borough of Merton, London, England. It opened on 17 March 1891. A crematorium in Morden Cemetery, North East Surrey Crematorium, is located near an area of the cemetery called the Gardens of Remembrance. The crematorium opened in 1958.
Mimmshall Brook is a 9.8 kilometres (6.1 mi) long stream (brook) in Greater London and Hertfordshire, England. Rising from two sources—one in Hertsmere, Hertfordshire, and the other in Arkley, London Borough of Barnet—the brook drains into a catchment area of 52 km² at Water End Swallow Holes, Welham Green, North Mymms. It is a tributary of the River Colne.
Pickle Ditch, also known as the Pickle, is a minor, 0.9-kilometre (0.56 mi) long stream—brook—in the locality of Colliers Wood in the London Borough of Merton, Greater London, England. Rising from the River Wandle, a tributary of the River Thames, and flowing back into it, Pickle Ditch is the last remaining course of the River Wandle's original course through Merton, before the other sections were straightened.
Bennett's Ditch—sometimes spelled Bennetts Ditch—is a minor river (brook) located in the locality of Colliers Wood in the London Borough of Merton, Greater London, England. It is a tributary of Pickle Ditch, itself a tributary of the River Wandle. Bennett's Ditch ostensibly receives its name from Calico Print Works, which was located in the area and owned by a Mr. Bennett. Bennett's Mill, a textile manufacturing factory, used to be located by the stream.
