Edyta Korotkin (born 18 April 1972) is a Polish archer. She competed in the women's individual and team events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1]

Another athlete, Lenira Santos, was selected to compete in athletics but was forced to pull out due to injury. Monteiro was selected as the flag bearer for both the opening and closing ceremonies. Neither of the Cape Verdeans progressed beyond the first round.
Burundi participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics, held in Beijing, China from 8 to 24 August 2008. It was Burundi's fourth appearance in the summer Olympics since its debut in 1996. The Burundi team included three athletes: runners Joachim Nshimirimana and Francine Niyonizigiye, as well as swimmer Elsie Uwamahoro. Niyonizigiye, a marathon runner, was flag bearer for the opening ceremony. None of the Burundi athletes progressed further than the qualifying round.
Beata Mikołajczyk is a Polish canoe sprinter. She competed at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics, in two events for each games; she won one silver and two bronze medals and placed fourth two times.
The 1962 World Rowing Championships were the inaugural world championships in rowing. The competition was held in September 1962 on the Rotsee in Lucerne, Switzerland. Rowers from West Germany dominated the competition, winning five of the seven boat classes.

In June 2015, she competed in the inaugural European Games, for Poland in canoe sprint, more specifically, Women's K-4 500m with Ewelina Wojnarowska, Karolina Naja, and Beata Mikołajczyk. She earned a bronze medal.
