"Eien no Uta"(永遠の詩,lit. Eternal Poem) is a single by Japanese singer Mika Nakashima. The title track of the single, a reggae-inflected ballad with producer Stephen McGregor, was used as the theme song of the movie Southbound , released in October 2007. [1] The single's other song, a cover of Cole Porter's "You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To," was made with jazz band Katteni-Shiyagare and previously included on the Katteni-Shiyagare tribute album, 'Let's Get Lost.' [2]

Di Genius (real name Stephen McGregor, is a Grammy Award Winning music producer, singer, and songwriter from kingston, Jamaica. Di Genius comes from a musical family—his father is legendary veteran reggae artist Freddie McGregor and his siblings, Daniel "Chino" McGregor and Yeshemabeth "Shema" McGregor, are also singers. While Di Genius was primarily known for producing riddims out of his "Big Ship" recording studio, he has gone on to produce and write songs for international artists such as Sean Paul, Drake, Nelly Furtado, Lianne La Havas, Shakira, among others.The New York Times Named him a "Reggae Veteran At The Age of 18"

Do the Best "Great Supporters Selection" is a fan-selected collection chosen through an online poll held by avex trax on Do As Infinity's official site after its disbanding. It was released among five other different Do As Infinity items on the same day. Fans were allowed to pick ten songs and a choice to leave comments; many fans from overseas also took part in the process, but only three comments from overseas fans were selected to be printed into the book, one each from Canada, United States, and Taiwan. All the names of the voters were printed in the book however. This two-disc album comprised thirty songs out of the eighty-six total Do As Infinity songs ; surprisingly, not all of the band's A-sides were included in the album. The cover of the album lists the titles of the 86 songs that Do As Infinity has written so far in no particular order. There are no pictures of Do As Infinity included in the album at all.

"Happy Life" is a song recorded by Japanese singers Mika Nakashima and Salyu. It was released as an exclusively digital single by Sony Music Associated Records on May 12, 2017. It was co-written by Takeshi Kobayashi and Yuko Ando and composed, arranged and produced by Kobayashi. The song was subsequently included as a B-side on the single "A or B". "Happy Life" was used in Tokyo Metro's televised commercial campaign Find My Tokyo, starring actress Satomi Ishihara.

Kaori Utatsuki is a J-pop singer who is signed to Geneon Universal Entertainment. She is a former member of the music production group I've Sound based in Sapporo, Japan. She has performed several songs for eroge together with the other I've Sound members. In August 2007, she released her first maxi single under Geneon Universal Entertainment titled "Shining Stars Bless," which was used as the opening theme for the anime Nanatsuiro Drops.

Katteni-Shiyagare (勝手にしやがれ) is a swing/jazz band with punk influences, formed in 1997, with its major label debut on Epic Records Japan in 2004. They are perhaps best known in the US for the opening theme to the Japanese series Kemonozume, "Auvers Blue" as well as the first opening to the anime Gallery Fake, "Ragtime". They also performed a cover of Cole Porter's "You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To" with fellow Sony Music Japan artist Mika Nakashima, which was released on the Katteni-Shiyagare tribute album and also included with her single Eien no Uta.

Southbound is a 2007 Japanese movie directed by Yoshimitsu Morita and starring Toyokawa Etsushi and Yūki Amami. Based on the novel of the same name by Hideo Okuda, it tells the story of a schoolboy whose family moves from Tokyo to Okinawa.

"Eien" is Zard's 22nd single released on August 20, 1997 under B-Gram Records label. Junichi Watanabe, the writer of the novel, wrote the title word "Eien" of the CD cover. The single reached rank number 1 first week. It charted for 13 weeks and sold 628,000 copies. When Izumi Sakai died in 2007, it was selected as her fifth best song on the Oricon polls.

"A or B" was used in televised commercials for Kao's liquid fabric softener "Flair Fragrance", starring actress Satomi Ishihara.
