Lucila J. Sarsines Reyes, was a Peruvian performer and one of the most respected singers of her country, one of Peru's most famous Afro-Peruvian personalities as well as a symbol of Peruvian nationalism both in Peru and to expatriates. She was also known by the pseudonyms "La Morena de Oro del Perú", given to her by Augusto Ferrando, and "La Reina de la Popularidad". She is well known for her voice and her music has gone through history as some of the best in the history of Peruvian music.

Thalía is the eponymous debut solo studio album by Mexican singer Thalía. It was produced by Alfredo Diaz Ordaz and released in Mexico on 9 October 1990, by Fonovisa Records. The album consisted of songs inspired in the 1980s rock, disco, pop, and ballads style. The first two singles "Un Pacto Entre Los Dos" and "Saliva" were highly controversial due to their suggestive lyrics, but were nonetheless highly successful, and are now considered Thalía's classics along with "Amarillo Azul" and "Pienso En Ti".
The CMLL World Mini-Estrella Championship is a professional wrestling championship promoted by the Mexican Lucha libre wrestling-based promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. The championship is exclusively competed for in the Mini-Estrellas, or Minis, division. A "Mini" is not necessarily a person with dwarfism, as in North American Midget wrestling; it can also be short wrestlers who work in the Mini-Estrellas division. The championship was created in 1992 and is the oldest active Mini-Estrella title in Mexico; both the Mexican National Mini-Estrella Championship and the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) World Mini-Estrella Championship were introduced after CMLL created their Mini-Estrella championship. As it is a professional wrestling championship, it is not won legitimately; it is instead won via a scripted ending to a match or awarded to a wrestler because of a storyline. All title matches take place under two out of three falls rules.

It was released by Melody/Fonovisa as the album's third single after the controversies generated by the previous songs. It achieved the album's best performance on the Mexican charts. About 20 years after the release, the song was part of the singer's Primera Fila live show and appeared as a bonus track for the special edition of the album: Primera Fila...un año después, released in 2010.
