She also played in the first film in which a woman struck a man and the first film with a lesbian romance. In 1981, she was awarded the Grand Prize for actresses from the National Endowment for the Arts.
José A(gustín) Ferreyra, popularly known as "Negro Ferreyra", was an early Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer. He was also sometimes credited as production designer.

María Esther Gorostiza Rodríguez, better known as Analía Gadé, was an Argentine film actress. She appeared in more than 60 films between 1948 and 2001. She appeared in the film Emergency Ward, which was entered into the 1953 Cannes Film Festival. She was born in Córdoba, Argentina, and was the sister of Carlos Gorostiza. Three years after being diagnosed with cancer, she died on 18 May 2019, at the age of 87.

Her first television appearance was in 1988 in Vivir Así, but she got fame working in the telenovela Amor a Domicilio and in the film La Rubia de Kennedy. In theater, she appeared with Camila Quiroga, Norma Castillo, Nelida Quiroga, Mangacha Gutierrez, Arrieta Rosita Blanca Vidal, Dora Dolly, and Carmen Castex. Dorman was born in Buenos Aires and died there as well.

María Elena Lucena Arcuri was an Argentine film actress of the Golden Age of Argentine Cinema (1940–60). She began her career in radio in the 1930s and reached her greatest success with the role of "Chimbela", which was later depicted in film, theater and television. Her extensive film career includes approximately 50 films, including notable performances in Chimbela (1939) and Una noche cualquiera (1951). During the 1940s, she participated in films with comedians like Pepe Arias, Pepe Iglesias "El Zorro", Niní Gambier, Mirtha Legrand and Carlos Estrada. Her most acclaimed film work occurred in Elvira Fernández, vendedora de tienda (1942) by Manuel Romero, Cinco besos by Luis Saslavsky and La Rubia Mireya for which she received the 1948 Best Comedy Actress Award from the Argentine Film Critics Association.
Raúl Nuñez (1946/47-1996) was an Argentine writer. He was born in Buenos Aires in 1946, and settled in Barcelona in 1971 where he lived until 1988. Many of his novels were set against the backdrop of Barcelona's nightlife. These include titles such as Derrama whisky sobre tu amigo muerto, People, Sinatra, and La rubia del bar. Some of his books were turned into movies, for example, Francesc Betriu directed the movie version of Sinatra, while La rubia del bar was directed by Ventura Pons. From 1990 onwards, he wrote for the Valencia journal Turia, continuing until his death in that city in 1996.
Silvina Marcela García Larraburu is an Argentine politician, currently serving as a National Senator for Río Negro Province since 2013. She previously served as a National Deputy from 2011 to 2013, and as a provincial legislator in Río Negro.
