"El Malo" (English: The Bad Guy) is the fifth single released from Aventura's fifth and final studio album The Last (2009). [1] The single was released on March 11, 2010 and reached #1 on Tropical Airplay. The music video was released on, Jun 29, 2010. A remix was made with Sensato. [2]
At the time El Malo was released, the previous single by Aventura, Dile al Amor had dominated the charts in early 2010. El Malo was later re-released in mid-2010 where it peaked #2 on the Latin Tropical Airplay chart twice on July 10 and July 24 where the #1 position was being held off by Juan Luis Guerra's Bachata en Fukuoka. [3] The single finally reached #1 on the Latin Tropical Airplay on the week of August 28, 2010. [4] The single has also reached on the Top 10 on Top Latin Songs peaking at #5. [5]

Aventura is an American bachata group formed in The Bronx, New York. With the lineup always consisting of the members Romeo Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos, and Max Santos, they are regarded as one of the most influential Latin groups of all time. All of the members are of Dominican descent, although Romeo is also half Puerto Rican on his mother's side. They were the first major bachata act to have originated in the United States instead of the Dominican Republic. The group was integral to the evolution of bachata music and are the pioneers of the modern bachata sound.

God's Project is the fourth studio album released by bachata group Aventura. It was released on April 26, 2005, by Premium Latin Music and distributed by Sony Music Latin. The album production was based on bachata with elements of rock, merengue and urban music such as R&B, exploring new sounds with reggaeton with an urban hip-hop Black American flavor. This combination of rhythms was classified by some critics as "neo-bachata". It features guest appearances by Judy Santos, Anthony Santos, Nina Sky and reggaeton artists Tego Calderon and Don Omar.
K.O.B. Live is the second live album released by bachata group Aventura by Premiun Latin Music distributed by Sony Music Latin. It was recorded during the promotion concert tour for their fourth studio album God's Project (2005). The tracks were recorded live in three United States locations: New York City, Boston, and Puerto Rico. They also recorded in Dominican Republic and Colombia. It also contains a DVD with videos of the performance at Altos de Chavón in La Romana, Dominican Republic and at the Madison Square Garden theater in New York. In the first, the group played before some 6,000 people, while in the second they made history by becoming the first bachata group to sell all the tickets before the event for that venue.
Toby Love is an American singer, rapper and songwriter of Puerto Rican descent. Based on The Bronx, New York, he is best known for being a former member of Aventura before pursuing a solo career, mostly known for their 2002 album We Broke the Rules, later performing a style of bachata music that combines traditional and urban singing and production. In 2006, he embarked on a solo career, thus gaining success. His debut single, "Tengo Un Amor", helped him rise to fame in mainstream Latin music. Since then, he became one of the most successful bachata artists of the 2000s and 2010s with hits like "Llorar Lloviendo", "Te Parece Poco", "Lejos", "Vestida De Blanco", among others.
Toby Love is the debut studio album by Puerto Rican-American performer Toby Love. It was released on September 5, 2006 by Sony BMG Norte. The album featured collaborations with Puerto Rican rapper Voltio and Puerto Rican duo R.K.M & Ken-Y, among others. Upon release, the album debuted at number twenty-seven on the Billboard Latin Albums chart, number forty-two on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, number three on the Mid-Atlantic area division of the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and number eleven on Billboard Latin Rhythm Albums chart. The album spawned three singles, with the lead single, "Tengo Un Amor", becoming a success, in the Latin market, reaching number one in the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart, the top three of both the Billboard Latin Songs and Billboard Tropical Songs charts, while peaking at number 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. Toby Love was awarded a Billboard Latin Music Award for "R&B/Hip-Hop Album of the Year". A remix version titled Toby Love: Reloaded was released on July 17, 2007 by Sony Music Entertainment.
The Tropical Airplay chart is a record chart published by Billboard magazine introduced in 1994. The first number-one song on the chart was "Quien Eres Tu" by Luis Enrique. Originally, rankings on the chart were determined by the amount of airplay a song received on radio stations that primarily played tropical music, namely music originating from the Spanish-speaking areas of the Caribbean such as salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, vallenato, and tropical fusions. Any song, regardless of its genre, was eligible for the chart if it received enough airplay from the panel of tropical music radio stations being monitored.
"Te Regalo Amores" (English: I'll Give You Love) is a song by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo R.K.M & Ken-Y from their second studio album The Royalty: La Realeza (2008). It was written by Jose Nieves and Kenny Vazquez, produced by Los Magnificos, Mambo Kings, and Janet Santiago and released as the second single from the album on August 26, 2008. A remix version with Ivy Queen was recorded and also included on the album. The song is a mixture of Cumbia and Merengue to create a lighter Latin pop sound.
The discography of Puerto Rican rapper, singer-songwriter and producer Daddy Yankee has released eight studio albums, two live albums, 112 singles, and one soundtrack. He made his debut on DJ Playero's Playero 34 mixtape, released in 1991. He was later featured on Playero's 37 and 38 albums, before releasing his first solo record in 1995, titled No Mercy. During the rest of the 1990s, he continued working on underground reggaeton records and released his first album as producer El Cartel de Yankee in 1997. After the release of his 2001 independent album El Cartel II: Los Cangris, he released his second studio album, El Cangri.com, in June 2002. It is cited as the record that made him notorious outside his natal Puerto Rico, being his music introduced in New York City and Miami. Without any major label backing him, El Cangri.com managed to peak at number 43 on the US Top Latin Albums chart. A track from the album, "Brugal Mix", became his first Billboard chart entry by peaking at number 40 on the US Tropical Songs chart in November 2002.

In the "Intro" of this album, Anthony "Romeo" Santos states that this could possibly be their last album; his prediction came true in July 2011 when the group publicly confirmed it was breaking up for good.

"Gracias a Ti" is a song by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel from their album, La Revolución (2009). The track was released as the third single from the album. A remixed version, featuring pop singer Enrique Iglesias was released on November 10, 2009.

In 2011 the Band Aventura broke up.In 2002, the song "Obsesión" was number one in Italy for 16 consecutive weeks. He released several albums with Aventura before the group broke up. Since then, Santos has embarked on a solo career which has included seven number one songs on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart and seventeen number ones on the Tropical Airplay chart. He has sold over 24 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling Latin artists ever.
