Cerrando Ciclos (English: Closing Cycles) is an ongoing reunion concert tour by Dominican-American bachata group Aventura. [1] It is considered to be their final tour as it is being reported that the band will officially retire this year. [2] [3] The tour started on May 1, 2024, at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, United States, and it is scheduled to end on January 5, 2025 in the Dominican Republic. [4] [5] [6] [7]
Promoted as their ultimate tour together, it's the band first since their 2020–21 Inmortal Tour. It has received positive reviews by critics and fans alike. [8] The tour was a box office success with several shows added in some cities due the high demand. As of September 2024, the tour grossed over US$132.6 million, selling over 896,000 tickets on 65 shows becoming Aventura's highest-grossing tour ever. [9] It was also ranked 9th on the highest-grossing Latin tours in Billboard Boxscore History. [9]
On February 5, 2020 Aventura kick off Inmortal Tour , their first tour together on 10 years. However, due the COVID-19 pandemic the shows were cancelled. On Summer 2021, the tour was renamed as Inmortal Stadium Tour and visited Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and East Rutherford. The tour ended on December 18–19 with two sold-out shows at Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Following the end of the tour, the member of the band focused on their individual proyects.
The lead singer, Romeo Santos released his fifth studio album Formula Vol. 3 in September 2022 and promoted the album with Formula Vol 3: La Gira (2023) the following year which was raked at the top 10 Highest-Grossing Latin Tours in Billboard Boxscore History with US$106.1 million.
On February 26, 2024, the band post on social media a teaser of an upcoming proyect, causing speculation on the fans. The following day it's was announced that Aventura last reunion tour titled Cerrando Ciclos (Spanish: Closing cycles) with 20 shows in the United States. [10] The lead singer Romeo Santos explained "This year there is something that I must do and conclude,” Santos said in a statement. “I want you to join me on a day where I will be definitively closing cycles.” [11]
On April 2, 2024, the band released the single "Brindo Con Agua" with Henry Santos on the lead vocals and served as the follow up of " Hermanita (2003)". It was their first single together in five years since "Inmortal" in 2019. [12] In April 2024, a European Leg was announced marking the first concerts in the continent in 17 years. [13] In May 2024, the Latin American shows were announced. [14]

Aventura is an American bachata group formed in The Bronx, New York. With the lineup always consisting of the members Romeo Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos, and Max Santos, they are regarded as one of the most influential Latin groups of all time. All of the members are of Dominican descent, although Romeo is also half Puerto Rican on his mother's side. They were the first major bachata act to have originated in the United States instead of the Dominican Republic. The group was integral to the evolution of bachata music and are the pioneers of the modern bachata sound.
Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium is an open-air multi-purpose stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Opened in 1974 for the XII Central American & Caribbean Games and renovated 2003 Pan American Games is the largest stadium in the Dominican Republic used mostly for football and track and field and as a music venue. The stadium has a sporting events' capacity of 27,000 people, though it has seen crowds of 35,000. For concerts, its stated capacity is 50,000 people.
Anthony "Romeo" Santos is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer who is best known as the frontman and lead vocalist of the bachata group Aventura. In 2011 the Band Aventura broke up. In 2002, the song "Obsesión" was number one in Italy for 16 consecutive weeks. He released several albums with Aventura before the group broke up. Since then, Santos has embarked on a solo career which has included seven number one songs on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart and seventeen number ones on the Tropical Airplay chart. He has sold over 24 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling Latin artists ever.
Henry Santos Jeter is a Dominican singer, songwriter, and producer. Best known for his tenure as a singer and songwriter in the bachata group Aventura. During his time with the group, he produced, wrote and was the lead singer in the songs "9:15", "Déjà Vu", "Voy Malacostumbrado", and Princesita as well as being the background vocalist in most tracks. He made his debut as a solo artist in 2011. Since then, he has released hit singles like "Poquito A Poquito", "Por Nada", "My Way", "La Vida", among others. Santos has released 5 studio albums and 1 live album. He has been featured in other songs with other artist, including Bad Bunny, Anthony Santos & Pavel Núñez. He is also a dancer, actor and art designer.
Fórmula, Vol. 1 is the debut studio album by American singer Romeo Santos, released on November 8, 2011, by Sony Music Latin. It is Santos's first album as a solo artist following the break-up of American bachata group Aventura, of which he was the lead singer. The record contains fifteen tracks, most of which were composed by Santos and co-produced with Ivan Chevere. The album experiments with the sound of bachata and other genres including R&B and flamenco. It features several Anglophone and Hispanophone guest artists including Usher, Tomatito, Mario Domm, and Lil Wayne. Recording for the album took place in 2011 at The Castle, Fight Klub, and EMG Studios in New York City. A deluxe edition of the album containing five extra tracks was released exclusively in Walmart retail stores in the United States.
The Maluma World Tour was the first headlining concert tour by Colombian reggaeton singer Maluma, in support of his second studio album, Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy (2015). The World's Hottest Tour was the fourth concert tour by Puerto Rican rapper and singer-songwriter Bad Bunny and his first stadium tour, in support of his fourth studio album Un Verano Sin Ti (2022). The La Última Mision World Tour is the farewell concert tour by reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel to support their final studio album La Última Misión (2022). The tour commenced on May 27, 2022, in Medellin, Colombia and is set to end on December 31, 2022, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
