Jaguares were a Mexican alternative rock band formed by former Caifanes lead singer Saúl Hernández, ex-Caifan Alfonso André (drums), and two long-time friends Federico Fong and José Manuel Aguilera.
Bajo el Azul de Tu Misterio is a two-disc album recorded by Mexican rock band Jaguares and was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2000. The LP was released on September 7, 1999 under the label BMG Entertainment Mexico. The first disc is a live concert album ; the second disc is a studio album.
Cuando la Sangre Galopa is an album recorded by Mexican rock band Jaguares. The LP was released on July 10, 2001 under the label BMG US Latin. It was nominated for Rock Album of the Year at the 2002 Lo Nuestro Awards.
La Quinta Estación is a Spanish pop/rock band composed of two musicians from Madrid: Natalia Jiménez and Ángel Reyero (guitar). Pablo Domínguez (2001–2008) was the third member until his recent split. Sven Martín was the fourth member until his departure in 2003. The band originated in Madrid with six members but the remaining four relocated to Mexico in 2001 after signing with Ariola and began recording their debut album Primera toma which was released in 2002.
Limón y Sal is the fourth studio album released by Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas. Recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, it was first released in Mexico on May 30, 2006 and in the United States on June 6, 2006. The album's overall themes deal with the general ups and downs of life and relationships. All the songs were composed by Venegas, with the exception of three songs, where she had the help of Coti Sorokin, Dante Spinetta and Cachorro López. Some notable songs are "Primer Día" with its reggae rhythm, sung in a duet with Dante Spinetta, "De Qué Me Sirve", where she plays the accordion in a tango and "bolero" fashion and "Eres Para Mí", a pop duet with Chilean singer Anita Tijoux.
Vivo is the third live album by Mexican singer Luis Miguel. It was filmed at the Auditorio Coca-Cola concert hall in Monterrey, Mexico, where Miguel performed from 13 to 17 April 2000, as part of the second leg of his Amarte Es Un Placer Tour. Vivo was released in a live audio CD, DVD and VHS format. Vivo is the first Spanish-language live album to be released on NTSC, PAL, and DVD formats. The audio version was produced by Miguel while David Mallet directed the video album. The audio disc was released on 3 October 2000, while the video album was released on 24 October. Miguel's renditions of "Y" and "La Bikina", which he specifically performed during the concert shows in Mexico where he was joined by Cutberto Pérez's band Mariachi 2000, made available as singles for the album.
