Elbow Beach is the third solo album by English singer Louise. It was released on 31 July 2000 and reached no.12 on the UK Albums Chart. [3]
After the success of her 1997 album Woman in Me , Louise married her longtime boyfriend, footballer Jamie Redknapp. Louise then spent just under a year making what she claimed was her "most personal album to date". Titled Elbow Beach, it was named after the location of her honeymoon. [4] Creatively, Louise was more involved in the process of this album than her previous two, co-writing nine of the twelve tracks.
In July 2000, the album's first single "2 Faced" went straight into the UK Singles Chart at no.3, becoming Louise's highest-charting single. [3] The track "Beautiful Inside" was released as the second single from the album and peaked at no.13 in November 2000. [3] A third single, "For Your Eyes Only", had been selected and remixed, but the single was dropped due to the low charting of "Beautiful Inside". The single mix samples Chic's "Le Freak" and appeared on Louise's Myspace profile.
Despite the hype and critical praise, total sales for Elbow Beach were weaker than Louise's previous two albums and it peaked at no.12 in the UK Albums Chart in August 2000. [3] It was certified Silver by the BPI for sales of over 60,000 copies (in comparison to the Platinum certifications of her first two albums).

Louise Elizabeth Redknapp is an English singer and media personality. She was a member of Eternal, an R&B girl group which debuted in 1993 with their quadruple-platinum studio album Always & Forever. In 1995, she departed from the group for a solo career. Aside from music, Redknapp has presented several television shows and was a judge on the UK version of So You Think You Can Dance. She was married to the English former footballer Jamie Redknapp. In 2016, Redknapp reached the final in the fourteenth series of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing. Redknapp's memoir entitled You've Got This: And Other Things I Wish I Had Known was released in 2021.
Eternal were a British R&B girl group formed in 1992, with the line-up consisting of sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett, with Kéllé Bryan and the latter's friend and classmate Louise Nurding, who were also recruited into the group by the label. The group became an international success, selling around 10 million records worldwide. Nurding left the group before the release of their second album to focus on her solo career with the same label. Bryan left the group under undisclosed circumstances in 1998. The Bennett sisters were the only members left when the group disbanded in 2000. Eternal made a brief comeback in 2013, with Bryan returning to the group, only for the group to disband once again in 2014. They were considered the UK's answer to the American girl group En Vogue.
Louise Gabrielle Bobb, known professionally as Gabrielle, is a British singer and songwriter. Bobb was born in Hackney, London. She released her debut single, "Dreams", in 1993, and it topped the UK Singles Chart the same year. Her other singles include "Going Nowhere", "Give Me a Little More Time", "Walk On By", and "If You Ever" – a duet with East 17.
Felt Mountain is the debut studio album by English electronic music duo Goldfrapp. It was released on 11 September 2000 by Mute Records. The album takes influence from a variety of music styles such as 1960s pop, cabaret, folk and electronica.

American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson has released ten studio albums, eight extended plays, one compilation album, one remix album, and 55 singles. Chér is the self titled seventh studio album by American singer-actress Cher, released in September 1971 by Kapp Records. For this album, Cher left her husband Sonny Bono to produce the album, and for the first time she collaborated with Snuff Garrett and with Al Capps for the arrangements. The album was retitled after the success of the single of the same name. It received positive reviews from critics, and the RIAA certified it Gold on July 2, 1972. The album was her first and most successful album of the '70s. Beautiful World is the fourth studio album by the British pop group Take That. Released on 27 November 2006, it was the band's first studio album in 11 years; it was also the band's first album to be released as a four-piece instead of the classic five-piece, without Robbie Williams, who had quit the group in 1995 and was not to rejoin them until 2010. Five singles were released from the album: "Patience", "Shine", "I'd Wait for Life", the European-only single "Reach Out", and "Rule the World", which appeared on the deluxe tour edition. The album features what Take That describe as "a throwback to the 90s, but with a modern twist". Beautiful World is their first album in which every member of the band sings lead vocals on at least one song.

Time is the twenty-eighth studio album by Rod Stewart, it was released on 3 May 2013 in the UK, on 7 May in the US and Canada, and on 8 May in Japan under the title "Time: Toki no Tabibito" (タイム~時の旅人~). In May 2013, Stewart released Time, a rock album of his own original material. It marked a return to songwriting after what Stewart termed "a dark period of twenty years"; he said that writing his autobiography gave him the impetus to write music again. Greatest Hits is the third compilation album by the British singer Louise. It was released on 2 June 2023 by Tag8 and BMG. The album contains singles throughout Louise's career and also reimagined versions to celebrate 30 years in music.
