Greatest Hits is the third compilation album by the British singer Louise. It was released on 2 June 2023 by Tag8 and BMG. The album contains singles throughout Louise's career and also reimagined versions to celebrate 30 years in music.
In an interview with Fault magazine, Redknapp shared, "I wanted to make music I loved rather than just ticking a box for what worked in the industry. I think I’ve forever had to fight to prove myself [...] I'm still fighting to prove myself. I feel that the hardest hurdle is to keep on knocking down those doors to prove myself." [1] "Super Magic" is Redknapp's first release under BMG. [2] It debuted at number 89 on the UK Official Singles Downloads Chart Top 100 on 18 November 2022. [3] On 12 January 2023, Redknapp announced that her Greatest Hits collection, spanning thirty years in the music industry, would be released in June 2023. Information at the time showed that the compilation would contain five new songs, including a cover of Janet Jackson's 1997 single "Together Again". [4] [5] [6]
On 10 November 2022, Redknapp released the single "Super Magic". [7] [8] [9]
Louise released reimagined versions of her singles "Just a Step from Heaven" and "Naked" as promotional singles from the compilation. [10] [11]
The second official single from the compilation, "High Hopes", was released on 27 April 2023. [12]
On 1 June 2023, Louise performed in concert at the Shepherd's Bush Empire; [13] [14] Michelle Gayle appeared as a guest and former Eternal bandmate Kéllé Bryan made a surprise appearance on stage to perform 1994 single "Crazy". [15] On 2 June 2023, Louise appeared on This Morning to discuss her career and album, [16] and was interviewed on BBC Breakfast three days later. [17]
On 5 June 2023, the UK's Official Charts Company predicted Greatest Hits debuting on the UK Albums Chart Top 100 that week at number 6. [18] The Album entered at number 11, at number 4 on the sales chart. At number 3 on the Download Charts and number 3 on the Independent Charts. The album dropped out of the charts a week later.

Bananarama are a British pop group formed in London in 1980. The group, originally a trio, consisted of friends Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey, and Keren Woodward. Fahey left the group in 1988 and was replaced by Jacquie O'Sullivan until 1991, when the trio became a duo. Their success on both pop and dance charts saw them listed in the Guinness World Records for achieving the world's highest number of chart entries by an all-female group. Between 1982 and 2009, they had 30 singles reach the Top 50 of the UK Singles Chart.
Louise Elizabeth Redknapp is an English singer and media personality. She was a member of Eternal, an R&B girl group which debuted in 1993 with their quadruple-platinum studio album Always & Forever. In 1995, she departed from the group for a solo career. Aside from music, Redknapp has presented several television shows and was a judge on the UK version of So You Think You Can Dance. She was married to the English former footballer Jamie Redknapp. In 2016, Redknapp reached the final in the fourteenth series of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing. Redknapp's memoir entitled You've Got This: And Other Things I Wish I Had Known was released in 2021.
Eternal were a British R&B girl group formed in 1992, with the line-up consisting of sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett, with Kéllé Bryan and the latter's friend and classmate Louise Nurding, who were also recruited into the group by the label. The group became an international success, selling around 10 million records worldwide. Nurding left the group before the release of their second album to focus on her solo career with the same label. Bryan left the group under undisclosed circumstances in 1998. The Bennett sisters were the only members left when the group disbanded in 2000. Eternal made a brief comeback in 2013, with Bryan returning to the group, only for the group to disband once again in 2014. They were considered the UK's answer to the American girl group En Vogue.
"Let It Be" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 6 March 1970 as a single, and as the title track of their album Let It Be. It was written and sung by Paul McCartney, and credited to the Lennon–McCartney partnership. The single version of the song, produced by George Martin, features a softer guitar solo and the orchestral section mixed low, compared with the album version, produced by Phil Spector, featuring a more aggressive guitar solo and the orchestral sections mixed higher.
A Kind of Magic is the twelfth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 2 June 1986 by EMI Records in the UK and by Capitol Records in the US. It is based on the soundtrack to the film Highlander, directed by Russell Mulcahy.
"You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" is a song by the English pop band Dead or Alive, featured on their second studio album, Youthquake (1985). Released as a single in November 1984, it reached No. 1 in the UK in March 1985, taking 17 weeks to get there. It was the first UK number one hit by the Stock Aitken Waterman production trio. On the US Billboard Hot 100, it peaked at No. 11 on 17 August of that year, becoming their highest-charting single there.
"Walking on Sunshine" is a song written by Kimberley Rew for British rock band Katrina and the Waves' 1983 eponymous debut full-length album. The rerecorded version was at first released on the band's 1985 self-titled album as the album's second single and reached No. 4 in Australia, No. 9 in the United States and No. 8 in the United Kingdom. It was the Waves' first American top 40 hit, and their biggest success in the UK until "Love Shine a Light" (1997).
"If I Told You That" is a song by American singer Whitney Houston. It is the fifth track from her fourth studio album, My Love Is Your Love, which was released in November 1998 by Arista Records. A reworked duet version of the song with British singer George Michael was released on May 29, 2000, as the third single from Houston's first greatest hits album, Whitney: The Greatest Hits (2000). The remix was originally to feature Michael Jackson. Commercially, "If I Told You That" peaked at number one in Iceland, Croatia, and Poland while peaking at nine on the UK Singles Chart.
"Together Forever" is a song recorded by English singer-songwriter Rick Astley and released by RCA and BMG as the fourth single from his debut album, Whenever You Need Somebody (1987). The song reached number two in the United Kingdom, behind Neighbours star and fellow Stock Aitken Waterman artist Kylie Minogue's debut single "I Should Be So Lucky". The single was a worldwide hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on 18 June 1988, becoming Astley's second and final US chart-topper, also topped the charts in Canada, Ireland and Spain, and was a top ten hits in many European countries.
"Then He Kissed Me" is a song written by Phil Spector, Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry. The song, produced by Spector, was initially released as a single on Philles Records (#115) in July 1963 by The Crystals. The lyrics are a narrative of a young woman's encounter, romance, and eventual engagement with a young man.
Elbow Beach is the third solo album by English singer Louise. It was released on 31 July 2000 and reached no.12 on the UK Albums Chart.
Changing Faces – The Best of Louise is a compilation album by the British singer Louise. It was released in 2001 and peaked at number 9 on the UK Albums Chart.
"She Wants to Dance with Me" is a song written and recorded by English singer-songwriter Rick Astley, released as the lead single from his second studio album, Hold Me in Your Arms (1988). The song was released in United Kingdom on September 12, 1988 by RCA, and became an international success, peaking in the top ten in many countries, including Canada, where it topped the chart, and the US and the UK, where it reached number six.
"Let's Go Round Again" was a single released by the Scottish funk and R&B group Average White Band. The single charted at UK No. 12, US Pop No. 53, US R&B No. 33 and US Disco No. 24 The corrected title "Let's Go 'Round Again" can be seen in their printed 1994 compilation album Pickin' Up the Pieces: The Best of Average White Band 1974-1980.
"Money Honey" is the title of a 1975 international hit single by the Bay City Rollers, taken from their album Rock n' Roll Love Letter and in the UK on their album Dedication. The power-pop recording was issued in the US as the album's lead single in January 1976, reaching number nine on the Hot 100 in Billboard magazine that March. "Money Honey" was the Bay City Rollers' second US Top 10 hit. It reached number seven on the Cash Box chart. The follow-up single was the album's title track, "Rock and Roll Love Letter". In the UK, "Money Honey" was released in November 1975 and reached number three, becoming the group's ninth Top 10 single.
The Greatest Showman: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the film The Greatest Showman. It was released in full on December 8, 2017, by Atlantic Records. The album contains all of the film's musical numbers, but none of the film's underscore. The first pre-order release was on October 26, 2017, with two promotional singles: "The Greatest Show" and "This Is Me". A third, "Rewrite the Stars", followed on November 17, 2017. "This Is Me" was released on December 8, 2017, as the album's official lead single. In Australia, "Rewrite the Stars" was released to radio on July 20, 2018.
Pop Don't Stop is a greatest hits collection by English singer Kim Wilde. The album was announced on 15 May 2021 and was released on 6 August 2021 as a 2-CD standard edition and a 5-CD + 2-DVD Collectors edition. Platinum Collection is the third greatest hits album released by pop group Steps. The album was released on 19 August 2022 through Sony Music Entertainment. The album is to mark the twenty fifth anniversary of the group's formation back in 1997. The album features Steps' greatest hits along with two brand new songs; "Hard 2 Forget, and "The Runner".
XXV is a compilation album by English singer Robbie Williams, released through Columbia Records on 9 September 2022. The album marks the 25th anniversary of Williams's solo career, and contains re-recorded and orchestrated versions of songs from his career, which were reworked by Jules Buckley, Guy Chambers and Steve Sidwell with the Metropole Orkest. The XXV version of "Angels" was released as the lead single, followed by the double single "Eternity/The Road to Mandalay" and the new song "Lost" as the third single. The deluxe edition of the album adds 10 tracks, including four more original songs—"Disco Symphony", "More Than This", "Home Thoughts from Abroad" and "The World and Her Mother". The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, with Williams breaking the record for most number-one albums among solo acts. The album is supported by the XXV Tour.
