Colquitt is a city in Miller County, in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. The population was 1,939 at the 2000 census. Colquitt is the county seat of Miller County, a role it has held since just after Miller County was created by the Georgia Legislature in 1856. The city formally incorporated on December 19, 1860, and is Miller County's only incorporated municipality. Colquitt is named for U.S. Congressman and Senator, Walter Terry Colquitt.
Ridersville is an unincorporated community between Berkeley Springs and Stohrs Crossroads along Martinsburg Road in Morgan County, West Virginia. It is located on Pious Ridge (804 ft) where Pious Ridge Road and Peter Yost Road intersect with WV 9. Ridersville sprang up in the 19th century as a small farming community along the Martinsburg Road with a general store. It had its own operating post office until it was closed in 1903 due to the community's proximity to Berkeley Springs. During its period as an independent agrarian town, it was known as Friendship, Rider Store, Riderville, and finally as Ridersville. Today, it is merely a growing residential area of Berkeley Springs.
Unger is an unincorporated community in southern Morgan County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Unger is distinguished amongst other towns in Morgan County for retaining an operating post office since one was established there in 1853. From 1857 to 1935, it was known as Unger's Store until March 31, 1950 its name was then shortened to Unger on April 1, 1950.
Bainbridge State College was a four-year state college of the University System of Georgia in Bainbridge, Georgia. In 2017 the college was merged into Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. The college’s campus is located on 173 acres (0.70 km2) of land just inside the Bainbridge city limits on U.S. Highway 84 East. St.John and Robertsville are two unincorporated communities in Gadsden County, Florida, United States. They are located near the intersection of Old Philadelphia Road and Old Bainbridge Road. Unlike some people think, the communities are not a part of the Mount Pleasant area. They recently had a zipcode change which split the community into two zipcodes, however the community considers itself a part of Quincy. They are approximately 5 miles outside of the city limits of Quincy, Florida. St. John borders the city of Gretna and the Robertsville community borders the Georgia state line, Attapugus, Georgia, Faceville, Georgia and Chattahoochee, Florida. These two communities are usually spoken of and thought of together although they are separate and distinct. St.John is known for its school, St.John's elementary school, the St.John/Robertsville park, the St.John volunteer fire department and most recently the St.John Church of God in Christ,. The church has been a staple in the community for over 50 years but is noted because of its new building on Old Philadelphia highway. The church was featured in the local newspaper The Gadsden County Times, because of its expansion. The church was also granted St. John Church of God in Christ day in May 2010 by then commission chair Angela Sapp. The church has launched many Christian leaders over the years, such as Nicky Yarborough These achievements have made St.John Church of God In Christ #86 among the top 1000 black (African-American) churches. Other churches in the area include the St. John AME church. It is also known for the McCloud’s Assisted Living Facility, which was the oldest assisted living facility in Quincy, Florida until it closed in 2006 due to health concerns of the administrator. The community is proud of its growth and achievements. St. John shares its facilities with Robertsville and other communities in Gadsden County. It also borders the city of Gretna, Florida. The communities associate themselves with the city of Quincy as their city.
