Emilia Ignacia Dides Maffei (born 29 June 1999) [1] is a Chilean singer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Universe Chile 2024. She represented, Chile at the Miss Universe 2024, pageant and finished a sa Top 12 semifinalist. [2]
Dides was born on 29 June 1999, in Vitacura, Santiago. [3] Dides studied at the Universidad Mayor, a private university in Santiago. [4]
In 2018, Dides entered the second season of the television talent competition Rojo, el color del talento ("Red, the color of talent"). After winning the competition, Dides obtained a scholarship to study at the Jackie Arredondo Music World in Miami, Florida. [4]
Dides released several singles under the pseudonym "Emi D" such as "Quiéreme bien", "Inevitable" and "Hay danger". She also participated in TheCovers of Mega. [4]
During the competition's final coronation night in 7 July 2024, Dides was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2024. She competed at Miss Universe 2024. [5]
Dides represented Chile at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant on 16 November 2024 in Mexico City. She finished as a Top 12 semifinalist. [2]
