Erik Aadahl is an American sound editor. [1] He is best known for his role in creating Godzilla's iconic roar in the 2014 film of the same name. He also voiced Bumblebee in Transformers: The Last Knight . [2]

Early life and education

He graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts in 1998. [3]

Career

Aadahl worked on all seven of the Transformer movies. He served as the supervising sound editor on Transformers: Dark of the Moon , [4] for which he was nominated for an Academy Award [5] [6] [7] and also voiced Bumblebee in Transformers: The Last Knight . Aadahl also worked on Godzilla's "roar" in the 2014 Godzilla film [8] He was the sound editor for A Quiet Place [9] and The Creator alongside Ethan Van der Ryn. [10]

David Acord is an American sound editor and voice actor best known for his contribution as a supervising sound editor of the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Acord received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Sound Editing and British Academy Film Award for Best Sound for his work on The Force Awakens, with fellow sound editor Matthew Wood. He also provided the voice of several characters in the film, including the stormtrooper FN-2199. Though the voice role is minimal, the character gained considerable attention on the Internet following the film's release. Acord also had minor voice roles as an Imperial Male PA and two stormtroopers on episodes of Star Wars Rebels. Acord also voiced Grogu for the Disney Plus series The Mandalorian. The film's score is composed by Marco Beltrami who returned from the predecessor to score the film. It was recorded at Malibu, California in February 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic. The score album featured 15 tracks released by Paramount Music on May 28, 2021.
