Esther Desviat Ponce (born 27 January 1982 in Madrid) is a Spanish athlete specialising in the middle-distance events. [1] She represented her country at one outdoor and three indoor World Championships. She won the 800 metres bronze at the 2003 European U23 Championships.

She took the double at the 2007 European Indoor Championships, becoming the first runner, male or female, to win both events at the same championships. She had been one of the most consistent middle-distance runners in Europe throughout the 1990s, and finished fifth and sixth in back-to-back Olympic 1500 m finals in 2000 and 2004.
