Genoa is an unincorporated town in Douglas County, Nevada, United States. Founded in 1851, it was the first settlement in what became the Nevada Territory. It is situated within Carson River Valley and is approximately 42 miles (68 km) south of Reno at 39.005,-119.846. The population was 939 at the 2010 census. It is home to the oldest bar in the state of Nevada which opened in 1853.
The Nevada State Capitol is the capitol building of the U.S. state of Nevada located in the state capital of Carson City at 101 North Carson Street. The building was constructed in the Neoclassical Italianate style between 1869 and 1871. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It is also Nevada Historical Marker number 25.
The Kyle Ranch was established by Conrad Kiel in 1875 in what is now North Las Vegas, Nevada. The ranch's name is spelled alternately as "Kiel" and "Kyle" because Conrad Kiel spelled his name and ranch both ways. The site is currently managed by the City of North Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Division as the "Kiel Ranch Historic Park." As of July 2016, the park is open to the public. The original adobe structure, one of the oldest extant buildings in Las Vegas, a wooden shed known as the "Doll House" and the Kyle Ranch Cemetery are all that remain after loss of buildings through fire and neglect.

Virginia City Historic District is a National Historic Landmark District encompassing the former mining villages of Virginia City and Gold Hill, both in Storey County, as well as Dayton and Silver City, both to the south in adjacent Lyon County, Nevada, United States. Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1961, the district is one of only six in the state of Nevada.

The Cathedral Hill Historic District is an area in Baltimore, Maryland. It lies in the northern part of Downtown just south of Mount Vernon. Roughly bounded by Saratoga Street, Park Avenue, Hamilton Street, and St. Paul Street, these 10 or so blocks contain some of the most significant buildings in Baltimore. The area takes its name from the Basilica of the Assumption which sits in the heart of the district. Despite the number of large religious structures in the area, the district's buildings are primarily commercial in character, with a broad collection of significant commercial structures ranging in date from 1790 to 1940.
Pendleton Historic District in Pendleton, South Carolina is a historic district which is located mostly in Anderson County, South Carolina and partly in Pickens County, South Carolina. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. The historic district includes the town of Pendleton and its immediate surroundings plus a large tract west towards Lake Hartwell to include the Hopewell Keowee Monument and the Treaty Oak Monument. The entire historic district covers an area of over 6,300 acres (25 km2).
The first Lincoln County Courthouse, also known as the Pioche Courthouse and the Old Lincoln County Courthouse, in Pioche, Nevada earned the title "Million Dollar Courthouse" after it cost $75,000 to build in 1872, for a relatively small building. With added costs attributed to finance charges and fiscal mismanagement, the cost in 1872 dollars came to over $800,000. The debt incurred by the county was not retired until 1938, when the new courthouse was under construction.
The Fourth Ward School is an historic 4-story mansard-roofed former public school building located at 537 South "C" Street in Virginia City, Nevada. Designed in 1876 by architect C. M. Bennett in the Second Empire style of architecture, it originally held over 1000 students in grades 1 though 9 divided into three departments: primary (grades 1 though 4); second grammar and high school. Grades 10 through 12 were added by 1909. It graduated its last class in 1936, after which its students were moved to a new school built by the Works Progress Administration.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church is a historic Carpenter Gothic-style Episcopal church building located at F and Taylor Streets in Virginia City, Nevada, United States. It was built in 1876 to replace an earlier church that had burned down in 1875. St Paul's Parish, founded on September 1, 1861, is still an active congregation in the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada.
The Knights of Pythias Building, also known as the Knights of Pythias Hall is an historic Knights of Pythias lodge hall located in Virginia City, Nevada, United States. It was built of cast iron and stuccoed brick in 1876 by Nevada Lodge No. 1 of the Knights of Pythias, which had been formed on March 23, 1873. It was also used the city's other Knights of Pythias lodges: Lincoln Lodge No. 6 formed in 1874, and Triumph Lodge No. 11 formed in 1879. It is one of the few unaltered false-fronted buildings remaining in Virginia City. The Knights of Pythias Building is a contributing property in the Virginia City Historic District which was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1961 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1966.
Old Homer Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Homer in Cortland County, New York. The district includes the historic core of the village of Homer centered on the village green. It includes a mix of residential, commercial, civic, and religious structures. Residences are primarily 2-story frame structures and commercial structures are 2- and 3-story structures constructed of brick. Included within the district is the Homer Town Hall (1908), the 3 1⁄2-story Jebediah Barber building (1863), 3-story Brockway Block (1887–1888), and residences dating to the 1810s. Also located within the district boundaries is the U.S. Post Office.
Hillsborough Historic District is a national historic district located at Hillsborough, Orange County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 529 contributing buildings, 9 contributing sites, 13 contributing structures, and 2 contributing objects in the central business district and surrounding residential sections of Hillsborough. The district includes buildings dating to the late-18th and early-20th century and includes notable examples of Federal, Greek Revival, and Italianate style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Burwell School, Eagle Lodge, Hazel-Nash House, Heartsease, Montrose, Nash Law Office, Nash-Hooper House, Old Orange County Courthouse, Ruffin-Roulhac House, Sans Souci, and St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and Churchyard. Other notable buildings include Seven Hearths, the Presbyterian Church (1815-1816), Methodist Church (1859-1860), First Baptist Church (1862-1870), Twin Chimneys, and the Berry Brick House.
St. Peter's Episcopal Church is a large historic Carpenter Gothic Episcopal church building located at the corner of Division and Telegraph streets in Carson City, Nevada. Built in 1868, it is the oldest Episcopal church still in use in Nevada. On January 3, 1978, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The district includes 205 contributing buildings in the central business district of Wheeling. It includes the site of the original location of Fort Henry. The buildings are representative of a number of popular architectural styles from the early-19th century through the present including Greek Revival and Late Victorian. The District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
Schellbourne, formerly known as Fort Schellbourne and Schell Creek Station is an ghost town located in White Pine County in Nevada, United States, located 43 miles (69 km) north of Ely. The town was a stopover along the Central Overland Route, Pony Express and original routing of the Lincoln Highway. It is today Nevada Historical Marker number 51. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. Its boundaries were increased in 1977.
The Peleg Brown Ranch, at 12945 Old Virginia Rd. in Reno, Nevada, dates from 1864. Also known as the Louis Damonte Ranch, it includes Bungalow/craftsman and Greek Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994; the listing included five contributing buildings on about 4 acres (1.6 ha).

The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 14, 1988. It includes 127 contributing buildings, 12 contributing structures, and one contributing site.
